The best breakfast spot in all of the Portland area! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is very delicious! You have to try their Raspberry French Toast! This is a weekly visit for my girlfriend and me.

Nice little place, the food is good, not stellar, but not bad. The service was excellent, and the overall vibe/atmosphere of the place is nice and welcoming.

The first time I went I dined in and it was a blast, great atmosphere, amazing music. I had Bettys breaksat, French toast and a burger. Everything was 10/10.
However, today, I ordered pick up. The half order of biscuits and gravy was trash. The biscuit was hard, cold and had a weird after taste. After tasting the gravy separately, I'd give the gravy a 5 and the biscuit a 1. Maybe it was an old biscuit. The Spanish omelette smelled weird but it was pretty good. I'd give it a 7. Pancakes were good.

Sweet Betty's has been one of our go to Breakfast/brunch places since the days it was in its old location.
The decor and atmosphere here is a mixture of the unexpected and a memorial to black leaders who have passed.
Service here is always good, and the servers are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
But the star here is the food. Servings are ample, the ingredients are fresh, and dishes are delicious. I enjoy the biscuits, but today I had their special: peach crepes. Well prepared and served beautifully alongside bacon and eggs (I substuted eggs for fresh fruit salas), I enjoyed it immensely. My partner had Sophias Omelette which was served with hash browns and a pancake. Be prepared to take home leftovers.
I havent had their lunch items yet, but I imagine they are treated with the same care as breakfast.

To charge as much as this place charges for food, and then to serve the most mediocre, ‘straight from the microwave’ tasting food, in this city, is genuinely baffling. For the same price of most meals at Sweet Betty’s, you can can afford a upscale brunch at even Proud Mary, or at the Mont, or Gravy on Mississippi, or screen door cafe, or Broder, or any number of reputable establishments, but here? Nope! Bland, unremarkable food and an outrageous bill for it. Price to performance is not good. The ambience is abysmal and confused.
My meal: breakfast burrito (comes with hash browns as a side) $17. Decaf drip coffee $4

Understaffed, served cold food after getting 1 cup of coffee and zero top offs. Was there for 30 min at table.
