The tamales here are amazing. They have been my go to tamale joint for a few years now. It had been awhile since I was back in this area, so I made sure to get a dozen so I could “stock up”. The price did go up since I last visited, but the prices of everything have increased and it wasn’t that huge of a gap. Definitely would recommend this place. I cannot emphasize enough how good their food is. It's a simple menu of Tamale's, rice and beans. But for those select items you will not find better anywhere. Their green salsa is a must.
Simple counter space for picking up homemade tamales and frijoles. We order by the dozen, chicken with red sauce, pork with green sauce and cheese. All delicious. We fight over all of them.
