I’ve been craving for malasadas since I moved here in Washington. I miss the flaky buttery goodness of Leonard’s. The kind of malasadas that melts in your mouth and the sugar coated heavenly bun that smells as good as taking that first bite.
I came across O and Ko from Google map and got so excited I felt like a kid again! I was counting the days where I would have it stuffed in my mouth and roll my eyes to the back of my head excitement…. Well, that have to say, I am disappointed. My first bite, I knew it was just a doughnut. My heart sank and I got homesick. If you’ve ever been to Hawaii and saw Leonard’s malasadas truck, the first thing you’ll notice is the line that forms in any good given days. You know that awesome goodness that just sends you in ecstasy. When you know, you know.
The butter mochi that O and Ko have is delicious! I will definitely come back for that one and I’m willing to try everything else that they have. Just not the malasadas.

Would give this place 11 stars if possible. She recomended the vanilla cream malasada and IT WAS DELICIOUS! Happily surprised at the gluten free/dairy free spam musubi, which was also DELICIOUS!!! She was so knowledgeable and helpful!

If you're missing home or want a taste of what Hawaii is like...
🌺10/10 my Husband and I recommend🌺
Just opening the door you get smacked with a mouth watering smell where it immediately makes your tummy rumble. The owners are very welcoming, sweet people! They have special seasonal flavors along with their different variety of items AND THEIR YUMMY HAND MADE STICKY MOCHI CRUNCH!! (Next time we will be buying more than one bag as the one we got was so finger-licking good it only made it about 1/3rd of the way home.)
My Husband was born and raised in Hawaii and whenever he feels the heavy homesick, this always our #1 go-to spot! Most definitely worth the 1hour drive! He says they are so perfectly deliciously made with love like back home, that they remind him of when he was a kid!! Which says a lot as my Husband is very picky when it comes to anything Hawaiian based. We always get the boxes of different filled Malasadas as well as the original (no filling), in hopes some of them will make it home to enjoy but they're so palatable only a few remain when we walk through our front door..
Big Thank You for bringing a touch of back home to the main land for everyone else and the home sicks to come by!! You guys are amazing!

If you haven't tried this neighborhood gem, go support this small local bakery now! Just tried the Butter Mochi pastry today and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it all day. With seasonal flavors for the malasadas, there's always something new to try. I hope they remain a fixture in the community for many years to come!

There are many doughnut shops that get more press or are better known, none of them approach the flavor, and texture, and pleasure that the malasada doughnuts from the Ō and Kō bakery produce. The owners and staff are so friendly and genuine. The Ō and Kō Bakery is worth being the reason for your trip to Gresham. This place has a very strong local following, so be prepared that some things may have sold out already.

My wife made a call to this wonderful shop right at closing time. We were traveling back home to Eastern Oregon from the coast, and I'm a huge fan of their butter mochi bites. They were very accommodating and let us stop by after closing to pick up some goodies for the road. Nothing but Aloha Spirit from these kind folks. I wish I had gotten their names, I'm pretty sure they were the owners. Gave us some sample bites of lemon and cardamom shortbread, and they are fantastic, especially with my coffee this morning. We've stopped by plenty of times in the past as we love their malasadas as well. Great people, customer service is beyond amazing, and the goodies are spectacular! We always try to stop by every chance we are in the area. Go see them, you will not be disappointed.

Just stopped by on Saturday for the first time. These malasadas were beyond amazing! So ono! We bought a box of six malasadas--one of each flavor--and couldn't decide which one we liked the best. We will definitely be stopping by again when we are in the area. Mahalo--from a Hawaiian transplant in Washington.

OMG....this is a Hawaiian treasure buried in Gresham. A Hawaiian-owned bakery who puts her own spin on traditional Hawaiian flavors and desserts.
Butter mochi is so moist and delicious. I had their key lime butter mochi. The key lime cream paired with the mochi was amazing and not overly sweet. Malasadas are amazing too. So many flavored creams you can get pipes in there. Haupia malasadas were my favorite.
The owner/Baker is so friendly and nice. You got another fan from the Westside.

The malasadas at O The Bake Shop are absolutely delicious - perfectly soft, fresh, and just the right amount of sweetness. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staffs are incredibly friendly, always willing to explain and help with all the selections. The cashier also gave my daughter a sticker as our first time being in the shop. That made me feel really welcome in their shop. Overall, I highly recommend this shop and will definitely be coming back!
