this a second time being here, never like the teriyaki sauce and my chicken katsu has a lot sauce of barbecue sauce taste is not authentic Japanese, the California roll sushi is too big hard to put in your mouth all at once, service is quick but poor quality of food , I gave 1 out 10!

This is by far our favorite place on the East side. Everything on the menu is so delicious! A definite must-trys are the Lobster roll and Calamari roll. Yum!! The service, staff and ambiance is always wonderful. We love Yami!

Great food! Wasn’t a fan of our server though and just be aware that for a party of 5 or more they do charge 20% gratuity, which is fine but they don’t disclose it which unless my husband hadn’t asked to see the Itemized receipt we wouldn’t have been told or have known.

This is easily one of my favorite spots to grab Yakisoba and mochi, their timing hasn't hit over 20 min when ever I've called in an order. I appreciate how they wait until I get there to get the mochi out so it doesn't melt. I also appreciate how it's not completely frozen like other places I've been to. Their vegi yakisoba has a really good flavor, and the amount doesn't disappoint. Would recommend any day. They can be a little on the pricey side, but the quality doesn't disappoint.

I can say this is one of my best sushi spots on the east side of Portland and Gresham. If you are a sushi fan, you have to give this place a try. The sushi rice is done right. Some place it is either too sweet or too vinegary. There is a decent selection of sake and Japanese beers to pair along with your meal. The shave ice with fruits dessert is refreshing and light. Both of the strawberry and mango didn't disappoint. This place can get really busy and full really quick during meal time.
