Wow!!! WE come from AZ to the PNW each summer. Fishmongers is a destination! We really like the TUNA fish and chips and the SALMON strips are great!!! The staff is sooo friendly and accommodating! Heading that way again Tuesday or Wednesday.

Ive been to Fishmongers about twice now. My children were impressed with the fish. So I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat for my children and myself this time around. I ordered the shrimp Basket and my children had the kids Fish basket. My girls DEVOURED Their fish and left the fries WHICH NEVER happens with my girls because they usually go for the fries first and leave whatever food that have for last. But noooo. These girls were happy with their fish and goldfish that was provided with their meals. So thats a example of how much my girls love their fish. I nearly polish off the Shrimp meal , it was coated nicely and had a beautiful crunch to it when bitten into. I can recall when I had a shrimp basket THIS GOOD. Only a few fries survived unfortunately. Will come back! So close to home I love it! Thank you to the gentlemen who served me and my girls we appreciate you more than you know!!!

This is a takeout place and the food is outstanding and generous. There is outdoor seating but take a jacket. The ocean breeze is chilly. I just wish there was a bathroom.
We got two portions of tuna fish and chips (17$ each) and one salmon fish and chips (18$ each), both were delicious and the portions were quite large. The fish is perfectly crispy and the batter is not too thick. The fries and tartar sauce are also very good and you get plenty of sauce. The food was done pretty quickly, about 10 minutes for three portions, and the customer service is very friendly. One thing too mention is that this place is takeout only but there is outdoor seating. Overall I would highly recommend this restaurant as the price for the portion size is very good and the customer service is top notch.

all the years coming to fish out here the columbia never stopped here . finally went in today and it was amazing . got the sampler plate , and three tacos and a shrimp dinner .there was two of us and shared unfortunatly but plenty for us two . the tast of yhe batter wasnt plain and boring . all was cooked and did not taste like dirty oil like most fish and chips in astoria area . i was very impressed . the tacos where perfect ! Best fish tacos in oregon . Best fish tacos in Astoria . Best Fish and chips in pregon . best fish and chips in Astoria. Best customer service in Astoria also! we will be back !

These were by far the best fish and chips I have ever had on the coast. Crispy, fresh, tender simply fantastic. Highly recommended, if you're in the area definitely stop by FishMongers, it's worth it. Tasty and not too expensive
