“I decided to sightsee in Astoria, and found this little gem of a craft beer taproom in downtown Astoria. I grabbed one of their hard ciders and really glad I did. They do not have a food menu, but as you can see from my photos, there are food carts just outside Buoy Beer where you can order delish seafood like fish & chips and other seafood items, if you get hungry while you drink.

Their atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. The bartender was very friendly and I could have hung out there longer than I did, but I had a bus to catch. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so on the rare occasions when the coast is sunny, there are outdoor tables where you can enjoy the rays.

For any Portlanders or non Astorians looking for a new place to hang out and chill and drink good beers and booze, I think you owe yourself to give this place a try!”

Hubby had the Philly cheesesteak and I had the fish n chips, we both shared the awesome bowl of claim chowder. FYI they have the best tarter sauce”

“My favorite Thai food in town. The owners are wonderful and the food is the best. some of my favorites are Drunken Noodle, Curry, Pinneapple fried rice, Stir fried Cashew Chicken, oh all of it! All items are TASTY! Just go and taste! To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable.”

“The food is lower priced than most places and the staff is very friendly. I love the Kareoke there but I don’t recommend going on Fridays. The DJ tends to pick her favorites and let them sing multiple times while everyone else maybe gets in 1 song in 2 hours.”
