“Soft, pillowy baos. SO GOOD. They had one specifically labeled “vegan bao” that was really excellent! We also got the veggie bao, tofu teriyaki noodles, potstickers, and hot and sour soup. All of the food was very good. Great service too.”

“This is the very best paninni meal that I have ever had! I grew up in an "upscale" tourism area. The towns there had new gourmet restaurants and eateries open every week. They usually closed down equally quickly. Evidently we residents were not overly impressed by number of stars or famous names. If V's Coastal Cafe were somehow magically transported to Monterey Peninsula/Carmel, they would be the most popular place on that peninsula. I cannot possibly describe everything about V's Corner Cafe other than to say "perfection". Whether you are a local or a visitor, it is a destination you do not want to miss. The place is amazing, as are the owners.”

“Restaurant hours posted on building and Webb site state open till 8pm. However tonight we arrived at 7:15 and were told we could only order take out. This has not been the policy in the past. This acting cashier/manager said this is how HE does things. 10 customers came immediately after after us and left. We did order take out but were very disappointed in new policy and advised to advertise the change. Not good business.”

“We had an amazing lunch at Patty's! Ordered the cod tacos and nachos supreme, both delicious. There's even pickled veggies to accessorize. It's only the owner doing everything on weekdays, so stay relaxed while waiting for tasty tacos.”

“Stumbled across this place just walking around downtown Long Beach for the first time. It's tucked toward the end of the street and I almost missed it entirely. Super small, maybe 2 tables inside and a couple of picnic tables outside, so if you are not paying attention you will walk right past it. I am really glad I did not.

I had the brisket plate and asked for flat only. Now flat is usually the drier cut but these guys nailed it. It was tender, which is not easy to pull off. The baked beans were really good and you could tell they were homemade. The coleslaw was solid and the little bite size cornbread was a nice touch. Oh and the barbecue sauce was on point too.

Definitely coming back next time I am in Long Beach.”

“That lady that served me & my family was soo lovely and nice :) on our last day we come around for her blended reeses coffee and a delicious blueberry cream muffin, she had also given us a duck for out collection in our car :) it is small but the service is totally worth it :)”

“Needed a pick-me-up after walking around Cape Disappointment Park most of the day and got my wife a Latte and my son an italian soda. Great drinks and fair prices. Had some fun patriotic special drinks too that were good! Had Dirty soda options too!”

“Chicken sandwich: wonderful flavor, especially the bacon. Very thick; almost impossible to hold and eat! Chicken itself a bit too thick and dry for the sandwich, though.
Cobb salad: pretty good.

We ate outside on the patio because we had our dogs with us. Not too busy at all, about 4:00 p.m. on a Saturday.”

“They have 10” gluten free crust for their pizza! (It is made from rice.) The pizza topping options are delicious. I am only intolerant so not sure on cross contamination concerns for gluten.”

“Love this place! The clam chowder is THE BEST I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is so much fun, with ghost pirates, mermaids, old ships, fishing nets, and nautical touches everywhere you look. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. I can’t wait to come back for another meal—and a drink or two!”

“I’ve been going to the LBT since the early 1970s. I have never had a bad experience and have enjoyed it every time I’ve gone in. It’s my place to go when I’m in town, which is all summer long. The bartenders have always been friendly, courteous, and attentive. I highly recommend the LBT to anyone who is looking for an enjoyable time.”

“I ordered fish and chips they were raw, I sent them back they were returnd over fried with a bite out of them. I refused to eat them but was forced to pay for thenm.”

“Most of the food was very good. Sweet and sour chicken had a little too much batter and not big enough meat chunks. Egg drop soup was excellent. They booth seats looked new... I think had rips in them the last time I ate there. The need some soft music playing in the background... I'd definitely go back..”

“Seriously underrated diner! My wife and I stopped in for lunch and ordered Harbor Cheddar Burgers and boy were they delicious. Im talking the ooey gooey savory kind of deliciousness. Not to mention the fries were absolutely perfect. So quiet and peaceful in here its amazing. Big shout out to the two on staff today because I haven't had a burger basket that good in ages.”
