“The sandwiches are amazing. I don't like onions and I get the regular sandwich with grilled onions and it's delicious everytime. The customer service is always good. I've never had a bad experience here. There is only outside seating or to go orders so that is something to keep in mind.”

“Most restaurants in Long Beach oddly close at 7PM. For a family with kids, trying to get them moving from the beach this is really strange compared to off island restaurants that are usually open until 9-10PM. Most of our choices were about to shut and disappointed, I took our family to The Lost Roo that shut at 8. Let me tell you, boy was I surprised.My first impression not knowing anything about it was that it was going to be an Outback/Bugaboo Creek frozen food recooked noisefest. WAS I SURPRISED!!! It was anything but!Whilst it was very noisy and the theme was a mix between local and australlian, I was well pleased.The chefs in that kitchen were on FIRE! It was as if you had a top chef from some high end restaurant cooking comfort food. They were doing the Lord's work for sure in there.I have lived all over and let me tell you we did not eat one bad thing on that menu. EVERYTHING was phenominal!Highly suggest the shooters. Sad I did not get more than 1.I should have ordered another.Steamer clams were great, but only came with 2 toast points. I would have liked to have had 4 for $25, especially where this is a starter. It was delish.My daughter got the crab mac and cheese and it was really good. She never eats and she ate half that plate. This was like $28 MR.My other daughter had the plain mac and cheese which boggles my mind why I take this kid out and all she orders is this Kraft rubbish. They do have a kids menu.The fried oysters were PERFECTION. Like New England style...Flo's Clamshack in Ipswich, MA perfection. Hats off to whoever was cooking Wednesday night.The chippies were like the perfect chippies. Best I have had since leaving England. Better than Winston's Food Truck in Vancouver, WA. If you want a perfect chippy...go here.My husband had the gumbo. It was not hot, but it was seasoned to perfection and absolutely DELICIOUS!Rum Crem Brule was phenominal. I could have had 2 of those. The Browie Ice Cream Sundae was good as well. Desert portions tend to be single size.TOP MARKS for having British/Irish beers.Would love a Boddie's option or Olde Speckled Hen. The Guiness went awesome with the oysters.I am going to ding service a bit as they brought out our apps and food at the same time. Also we wanted to order desert and they were just so keen to keep on wanting to give us a box and the bill. We had to ask several times about deserts. Service could have been a lot better in terms of delivery and upselling product. Seemed everyone wanted to get out of there ASAP. I don't know why dinner is such a rushed thing in Long Beach.The was super busy and noisy in there so if you have a kid with SPD it is overwhelming and you might want to bring headphones.We will go back for sure as the food was phenominal and it is open past 7PM.Overall the bill though cost more than our hotel room $175+, but the food was outstanding.Parking: This place fills up!Wheelchair accessibility: It felt like there was enough room to get around in a wheelchair. They had a ramp and a large enough bathroom.”

“This place is awesome!!!! The food is delicious. They have a lot of gluten-free options. The clam chowder is one of the best I've ever eaten, my husband loved the smoked salmon alfredo and the fish-n-chips is good too! They are very sweet and accommodating for little ones. Very family friendly! This place is our favorite beach restaurant.”

And the cherry on top - nice decor and clean restrooms. Overall we didn’t expect this level of service and food quality at the small seaside town. It was a nice surprise. Can’t recommend more.”

“This was by far the best salad I have gotten on the Peninsula! And it wasn't even all there. I have a dairy allergy so I ate it dry (dressing has dairy) and it was still amazing. Staff were so helpful and went out of the way to make sure my food came prepared correctly. The presentation was also beautiful!Dietary restrictions: Just ask and they will help!”

“Not quite ramen not quite Pho but pretty good. Good prawns and fresh veggies. Served quick enough, forks a little too small to eat effectively. Add some soy and Sriracha as friendly staff are easy on the salt. Nice option for Long Beach ⛱️”

“My wife and I stopped in here yesterday on the way back to Seattle. I was starving. Super nice girl to our order and gave us a buzzer. A few minutes later and I was really happy with my burrito.First of all she hooked my wife up with a vegetarian burrito, but mine was crazy. Roasted pork, rice all kinds of stuff. And they're adult-sized.They had a red roasted adobo salsa with a good bite, but not too hot. The other was a roasted tomatillo salsa. Both were nice, thick and came with limes. For like twenty odd bucks or something. We are them in the parking lot and my wife was zonked out the whole way home. Thing put her in a coma. :)By far the best quality food I've ever had in Long Beach. Nothing else is even close. I'll keep coming back to town after all.Long Beach aught to be renamed the Taco Shack in appreciation for moving there and sharing such good food. Please don't move away.”

“Where to start? Both ladies working were pleasant and helpful. Kids played games while we waited. Went out on the beach to watch the tide and eat lunch. The cod and chips was some of the best I have ever had, and I order it everywhere I go. The chowder is good and thick. The fries with chowder were amazing. The fries themselves are super tasty.This is now a must stop every time I come to Long Beach.”
