It feels like a totally different restaurant than the one I tried last year. Same place and name. I had the chorizo egg plate and it was yummy and flavorful but not too spicy. Hubby had their taquitos and nachos with beef. Said the meat was tender and really good! We will be returning more often. Also closer to where I live and can walk to!
As a restaurant in Long Beach, this is 4 stars for me because of their hours and menu, but outside Long Beach, it's more like 3 stars for the quality when compared to other Mexican and non-Mexican restaurants with the same items. We came here twice during our stay in Long Beach because El Mar was always open and has a lot of options to choose from.
