Best food I've had on the peninsula! Where it really shines is the atmosphere. Long Beach Tavern is exceptionally pleasant. They mostly played good classic rock with occasional post grunge. I had the Burton burger and can recommend it. Their fries are SO damn good! Not an amazing selection of beer, but they had Fort George IPA so I was happy.
I call ahead for pick up and yet I have to wait for my order to be prepared anyway b/c it was taken but not given to the kitchen. So there’s why call ahead ? BTW $70 for two orders of fish & chips !?!?

Good food, tendies were delicious, crispy and good size, not the soggy mess you may get at other places. The pizza is pretty damn good quality too. The best thing about this amazing tavern is the ice cold beers. Too many places are serving *moderately* cold beer, but this place is giving you frosty deliciousness. You can't find colder beers in long beach.
