The Fact that Surfer Sands doesn't have a 5 star all-around is a travesty. When I lived in the area and work on the ambulance we would make it a point to snag a bite to eat. The Bread is perfectly made every day, good portions, fresh produce never frozen. If Surfer Sands shipped their food out of state I would pay handsomely! I am writing this review as I'm eating the "best sandwich" in Chattanooga TN. Only wishing I had a Surfer Sands sammy in my hands!
Just got a smoked brisket sandwich advertised as a special and it was FANTASTIC!!!Great price too!The shop was closed. The owner was there making bread and he stopped to make us our sandwiches. WOW! Deserves more than 5 stars

The sandwiches are amazing. I don't like onions and I get the regular sandwich with grilled onions and it's delicious everytime. The customer service is always good. I've never had a bad experience here. There is only outside seating or to go orders so that is something to keep in mind.
