“Love this bar! Stopped by here last Friday afternoon and Ian was so great that we had to go back on Saturday! It’s cash only, beer/wine only but it’s a great little dive bar! Both times we came in, we had PROMPT service and beer was extra cold too!!! So much history that they’ll gladly share with you (Thank you Taylor!!!) as they take great pride in it! The employees all have their name on an engraved board above the bar so you know who’s on shift…loved that! Christina was so helpful in giving us recommendations to the little restaurant across the street where we had dinner…thank you, Christina!!! And the highlight of our entire vacation….because we decided this on our drive home…we’re the bunnies in the smoking section out back!! They’re like therapy!!! I love that they not only allow them to stay, they also feed and water them. Melted my heart!!!! We brought home a Doc’s t-shirt and calendar so we can remember y’all and our great experience! Dive bars are truly where the best people are!!!!”

“I had the fish and chip cod with onion rings the. cod was very dry no flavor to it at all all you can taste is grease in the Cod and in the onion rings and a bowl of clam chowder which clam chowder was not clam chowder it was bacon and potatoes there was no clams in it it tasted like bacon and grease my friend had the French dip the bread was small and hard the meat was dry did not taste good at all would not recommend this place to anybody ever again food absolutely sucks the cook done is now how to cook he doesn't know how to change his oil or how to get the food out correctly I would not recommend this place to anybody nor their food very disgusting and disappointed in it”

I had the homemade clam chowder, and 5 grilled oysters, and my husband had the fish and chips! Excellent Service, Friendly atmosphere, and Superb Chowder for me! I would love the recipe... as that day we went to go dig razor clams.”

“Restaurant hours posted on building and Webb site state open till 8pm. However tonight we arrived at 7:15 and were told we could only order take out. This has not been the policy in the past. This acting cashier/manager said this is how HE does things. 10 customers came immediately after after us and left. We did order take out but were very disappointed in new policy and advised to advertise the change. Not good business.”

“I’ve been going to the LBT since the early 1970s. I have never had a bad experience and have enjoyed it every time I’ve gone in. It’s my place to go when I’m in town, which is all summer long. The bartenders have always been friendly, courteous, and attentive. I highly recommend the LBT to anyone who is looking for an enjoyable time.”

The fries are perfect, lightly crisp on the outside and pillow soft on the inside with a delicious light flavor, not greasy at all.

The peanutbutter banana milkshake tasted like peanutbutter and banana! Often at other places it can be a strong flavor of one or the other not balance like it was here.

The chicken burger and fish was delicious as well.

The staff was friendly and service was fast. This is a great place to grab a quick bite or just an order of fries.”
