Bowpicker Fish and Chips Reviews
We make trips from Portland to Astoria just to visit Bowpicker and get our fill of the fish and chips. There is a somewhat festive vibe to the line and people from all over chat it up. The line can be a bit long at times but it is absolutely worth it. Make sure to bring cash and an empty belly. There are several picnic tables across the street or you can bring your own blanket to sit on the grass.
Oh My SO GoodWe've driven by a few times and never caught them when they were open. It was our first time I was very impressed. The fish was not oily, the fish was not salty, the fries were just right, the tartar sauce was perfectly thick (not watered down like some places near by) very tasty also not salty they even had mustard!!!We will definitely be back. Thanks!! ?

Heard about this special spot in Astoria to get fish and chips out of a boat years ago on OPB and finally made it there to try them and boy, did I ever find my favorite fish and chips in Oregon. I don't think I've ever had tuna in fish and chips, and I'm not sure why no one else is doing it. So good, I can't wait to come back!
