“Got an order of plantains. While waiting for them I decided to order something else. I didn’t take a picture of the original plantains or the meal I ordered because I ate it too fast. Ended up going back for 2 more orders of plantains for the road. The one pictured is the only one that made it home, It was a lady in the back and a gentleman up front taking orders. They were both friendly and it didn’t take long for any of my orders to come up. When I come back I will definitely be ordering more food.“

“The food is excellent. I will be coming back. It’s in the middle of a pottery yard which gives the venue nice atmosphere. Also they have flan. This restaurant reinforced to me how much excellent dining there is to be had along the 82nd street corridor. And it’s very reasonably priced. My friend takes her grandma to Elmers, but after we ate here, dipping the papa fritas in the pepper sauce she said, “I think my grandma would like this place. So would my mom. I think we’ll come here again soon.” You could watch 50 kitten rescue videos and you will still not equal that warm glow of hospitality and welcome that one experiences here when you cross the threshold.“

“The serrano based tequila drink on the menu was amazing! We started with the fresh rolls. Delicious pork belly and sauces with those. The oysters were unique and tasty with a light spice and trout roe. We finished with the duck empanadas which were outstanding! Service was great and the space is nice. I'll definitely visit again some day.“

“Omg so good! We got the lomo sandwiches and agreed it was the best sandwich either of us had eaten in a looong time. The flavor was so satisfying and delicious. The bread was also a surprisingly perfect choice, grilled to perfection. We were so happy!“

“Thinly sliced tender cheesesteak, tons of flavor from the whiz sauce and peppers I added to the basic philly. I love places you can order ahead too, so it was pretty much ready when I arrived! Def on the spendier side but the cheesesteak was literally HUGE!“
