I've been coming to this bar off at odds since covid. I've always had good experiences people have always been friendly. I was supposed to meet some friends that were coming from out of town on a Monday night there. There was an older blonde woman working. I was the first to show up and the second I walked in the door she demanded my ID. I'm 52 years old but I get it it's our job no big deal. So I handed my ID and she said she refuses to take it. I asked why and she said it was damaged. My ID is pristine without a mark on it, so I asked her where the damage was. She couldn't show me and said it didn't matter she wasn't going to accept it. I myself am also a bartender, I was dressed nice, I was very respectful, I'm so confused! We all had to arrange to meet somewhere else. My friends and I will not be returning. It's too bad because We really use to like that place. It only takes one bad apple..........

Super small but great bartender, my life has been a trainwreck the last 4 months but there are good vibes here, this is what I needed.

Vegetarian options: Artichoke dip and pita bread. Just the right amount.

Friendly workers, terrible mixed drinks. Small bar not much room when packed

That's always a pleasure to find a great bartender with a super good attitude and friendly.

There are few "safe" dive bars on 82nd. This is one of them. Still, it's a dive, so don't expect much! Pool table in the front, bar runs the length of the space and a patio out back. If you're looking for food, Mexican food truck in the parking lot. Stop by sometime.

I adore the gal that's been there forever and soon retiring. Big shoes to fill for somebody.

Food Carts have the best food and nice atmosphere.

Was about 4 mins before we were greeted and able to order despite bartender already being behind the counter. Gave the benefit of the doubt and assumed Bartender was busy but there were only 6 other customers and none were actively ordering. Bartender wore a sign that said "tip me" taped onto her back which I initially was funny and creative but even after tipping about 50% of bill, bartender was pretty of cold and didn't even smile. I understand how challenging service jobs can be but basic customer service such as greeting in a timely manner, being generally friendly and welcoming could use great improvement. Overall cold and unreceptive atmosphere. Very unwelcoming to us but seemed to be very nice to "the regulars."

Exactly what it says... A place that Rocco built and not much more. So it's a small, strangely arranged bar, reliant on neighborhood clientele. No sports games on unless you request it; poor seating set-up/vantage point for keno players with only one screen. Decent patio area for chilling outside is their strongest attribute. Two stars for being exactly what they intended and not pretending to be what they're not.
