Terrible! Power has been put for a week, so we ordered takeout. We spent $90 on dinner and the food was terrible. The portions were tiny, the orange chicken was not even chicken, it was just hard, overfried, crumbles of tempura, and no sauces included at all. No soy sauce, no sauce for the potstickers, not even a fortune cookie with the meal. This was probably the worst choice we could have made for dinner tonight.

Foods terrible, service it's okay but over priced Chinese food you can probably find better wouldn't recommend at all! Lol ambiance what's that? It's been turned into a bar instead with portion of the old menu according to the locals

The new owners have ruined this place. We used to go weekly but not anymore. Looks like Eugene is the only option.

This place charged me way too much, didn’t even know I ordered so when I got there it wasn’t ready and when I got home I was missing my sweet and sour sauce. Their phone is connected so I can’t call but safe to say I will never go back.

This place used to a great place to get Chinese food but now its horrible. You can get better Chinese food at Safeway. The shrimp were tough & no flavor, the fried rice and no flavor. Basically all food had no seasoning.

Food does not compare to what it used to be. Chicken was hard. Everything tastes like it was store bought frozen and then heated. Would not eat here again.

Nothing like the original Golden Chopsticks run by the family, new golden chopsticks must be new people. Restaurant part of the building is actually closed now, only takeout or eat in the bar, previous owners seem to be gone sometime since early 2023. 4/11/23 Food was meh, orange chicken was cold in center, soup was awful- they did not charge for it, general tso chicken came as cahsew chicken, and our table's food came 20 min apart, unfortunate and so sad to learn/experience this.

03/22/2023 IM not sure what going on down there. The food i order is just not good. You are better off going somewhere else. That 20 min drive into Eugene is worth your time. The pineapple chicken is super soggy and plain gross. The Almond chicken has just a ofd taste. And instead of Almonds they ise peanuts. The crab puff tased like there sysco frozen. It tastes almost like they put to much ginger or something. It just gross. Bring back the old chopsticks.

Do not eat here anymore, new management ruined food. The old couple that used to run it left and the new owners do not make anything from scratch

One of the dirtiest restaurants I've ever been in, cobwebs everywhere in the dining area, I can imagine what the kitchen looks like. How can they hold a health certificate with the food handlers board with this kind of dirtiness, it's the main reason I don't and won't go back.

This place is an absolute hidden gem! The only Chinese nearby that even compares is Twin Dragon in Eugene (which I absolutely love, although the hours are less than convenient). The restaurant is closed since Covid so you will have to eat in the bar if you want to dine in. It's older and could use an update, but its clean. Service wasn't fast but was very friendly. Food is absolutely delicious. We tried multiple dishes and appetizers and nothing, I mean nothing was bad. Sauces taste homemade and are amazing. Absolutely recommend and I will be frequenting this establishment. Worth the trip if you live in Eugene, hell its worth the trip from Portland!
