“Very Cute- Very Quaint roadside gift store/nursery/sandwich shop. The people working there awesome. The food was unbelieveable. Good Clean food. They make a homeade artichoke dip with artichokes they grow there that will knock your socks off. I had the Esterman...Grilled Sourdough with Tillamook cheddar, thick ham, bacon crumbles, and the artichoke dip. It was 🔥. The girls.working there were great conversationalist. They told me about some really cool local places to check out and even took the time to show me on Google maps. I'll be back for more. Places like these and people like them are what makes this part of the world special. 17 GOLD SSTARS. “New favorite spot in Pacific City—full stop.

We were seated quickly, greeted by the kindest (and very respectful) younger staff, and immediately felt welcome. No mama or papa in sight… but HOLY WOW—this food absolutely tasted like there was an Asian mama throwing down in the kitchen.

We started with drinks: solid Long Islands (dangerously good) and an Asian Mojito that was refreshing, flavorful, and very reasonably priced. Loved them both.

Next up: clam chowder. We shared a bowl and I’m not exaggerating when I say this may be the most flavorful clam chowder we’ve ever had. 10/10, no notes.

Then came the entrées—and listen… this place had me briefly considering buying a surf shack in Pacific City just so I could live closer to these meatballs and calamari. Whoooo. The heat was just enough to make us sweat a little in the best way (we love spicy food), and the sauces? Unreal. Deep, bold, layered flavors.

My compliments to the mama in the back—I refuse to believe she wasn’t involved—because this food was made with serious love. And American papa, wherever you are, your calamari has my gratitude.

We’re already planning to go back during our remaining days here. The cookies looked amazing, and we overheard that the coconut shrimp are a must. Round two feels inevitable.

“My husband and I were traveling down the coast and Pelican Brewing happened to be only brewery open in Tillamook. What a gem we stumbled upon. Five stars on Fast, Friendly and Delicious! We're from Minnesota, and the hostess took time to recommend stops along our drive to Florence. Needless to say we stopped at the Pelican in Pacific City and Siletz Bay. We found the same 5 star service. Dave in Pacific City was the BEST! It's a MUST stop for anyone traveling down the coast! - Barnesville, MN”
