Holy PORTIONS. Your standard mom and pop cafe style food, huge menu and you will NOT go hungry. What stood out was the service, not only from our server but anyone who passed us by while waiting for a table, all the way to getting the check. Our server was very attentive and even made sure our food was perfect to order before served. Very cute western style decor. We will definitely be returning.

Stopped at Hale's today for lunch. Great meal as always, I went with the Western Burger. The service was outstanding and portions are large. We don't get to Hermiston often but when we do, it's Hale's.

For breakfast, two 8oz NY steaks were ordered. The steak was disappointing, as it was tough and lacked flavor. Despite being cooked to the requested temperature, the meat was chewy and difficult to cut. Additionally, the server did not correct the issue or provide service while we ate, which further detracted from the overall experience. I would not recommend this establishment.

I feel so bad to write this review because this restaurants breakfast is phenomenal. (Though not hard to do breakfast a lot of places can't do it like this) portions are incredible but I just came here with my best friend CRAVING a ribeye and I ordered one and the fat of this steak was just inedible. Silver skin all through the meat, and I've noticed this in a lot of respected restaurants that they care more about presenting a char from a grill than focusing on the quality of a fine steak. Severely disappointed would give it a 1 if I didn't like the aura and breakfast so much but this makes me really sad to write this.

This is a cool restaurant, but figure a while to get your food. I’m not sure if it’s cause I was dining alone or not but my order didn’t get taken for over 15 minutes. Poor waitresses seem very spread thin as far as not enough help. Sitting by the kitchen both times, I could hear the cooks yelling at them. I never saw them slowing down for a moment, but never caught up. That’s for sure. Steak & potato was delicious. Bread was just OK and I had an everything salad the first time I went. That was a good salad. I hope they get some more help there. It seems like that’s what they need. I went here years ago and recall the waitresses being less stressed and more available to enjoy serving folks. The atmosphere is cool with the old decor, and, just like an old-fashioned gathering place.

I have already recommended it, and will go again when I travel through. Prime rib was one of the very best I've ever had.
The food portion size will feed you for a couple of days! ? It's my dad's favorite place and dinner was for his Birthday. Food was delicious! The waitresses (we went twice while visiting) were polite, kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend it if you're in the area!! ??Parking: There is street parking but I'm not sure if it's free. We parked in the back.Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp at the back door entrance for wheelchairs or to make walking up, easier.

Portions are huge on most side dishes, and service is top shelf. We have only been here for breakfast and lunch, but it is definitely in our regular rotation of good places to eat, meet, and discuss the day.
