I Just love the family oriented atmosphere at Ixtapa. From the beginning the service was great. Suggestions were made for drinks and desert. After I placed the order the service was a bit slower then usual but not to slow. The food carnee asada is on point.

Im not saying to not eat here but I will tell you the past two times in a row I've ate at this ixtapa I have woken up hours after going to bed and thrown up everything and once again I've only ever ate at this ixtapa twice months apart from one another and my body still had the same reaction last night. May just be me but I've never experienced that unless I had food poisoning

I found this restaurant online so I called and placed my order. When I went inside to pay, It costed me $27 more than what their website said it would be, they even charged me an extra $3 because it was for takeout, and all the lady could say is, their website hasn’t been updated. I think this is false advertising and they should honor the prices that are listed on their website or at least let people know when they place their order. I was very disappointed with their food as well. The chicken enchiladas had no flavor whatsoever and the chicken was very dry. Their chili Colorado meat was super tough to chew and their mole just tasted funny. Not impressed, but their building was beautiful.

Food was attractively presented and tasted awesome. Wait staff was prompt and attentive. The chips and salsa was free and great addition to our meal. Will go to another one if we find it in Portland.
