First time in Hermiston, on a business trip, and we were looking for a place to have dinner. Given such a small town, I didn't have high expectations, so we tried this spot because convenient to our hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. The Hibachi New York strip was excellent. High quality meat and preparation was great. Although I did not get the sushi, which is most of the menu, my colleagues did and enjoyed it too. I highly recommended this place for anyone travel through Hermiston.

I was in Hermiston for work and found this restaurant online. I loved the other photos and reviews and figured I too would try it. I ordered edamame as an appetizer and it wasn’t steamed all the way so it was difficult to eat. Not a big deal. I asked the waitress what her some of her favorite rolls were and she let me know she actually didn’t like sushi, but that the WallaWalla roll was popular, so that’s what I ordered. The plating was beautiful and the roll was absolutely delicious. I’m typically not a fan of cream cheese in my sushi roll, but this was so light and creamy. I almost ordered another roll to take home!

Either you want sushi or steak of both, you are going to leave satisfied. Each time i go I’m always greeted quick, seated quicker, and I’m always accommodated a area where i can place my massive baby carriage! The bar tender is heavy handed too, so good luck if you don’t drink often! 10/10!
Great food options. The drink my girlfriend got, a Washington Apple, didn't seem to have any alcohol. The food was really good. We got the filet minion and shrimp, which was delicious. We also got the Walla Walla Roll and the Whitman "something", those too were very good.

I went to Shiki Hibachi Sushi in Hermiston Oregon and found a NAIL CLIPPING in my miso soup!!! This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in town but I’ve noticed through several occasions they are not sanitary at all. I’ve had lipstick stains on my cup, there’s been insects in my rice and now this. When I brought up the nail clipping to the waitress she was very apologetic but the manager on the other hand was not apologetic at all and made it seem as if it was me that put the nail in the soup!! I’m never the type to post negative reviews on restaurants but I feel as this was well deserved. Who tf wants dirty nail clippings in their food!!!

Delicious sushi! A gem in Hermiston.I ate here twice in one week while traveling for work. I was dining with coworkers so I had a chance to sample a wide range of sushi over the two meals, and it was all delicious.Not only is the sushi good, but the plating is very creative and artful, adding to the experience. Even the sashimi was plated with flair.Highly recommend and would dine here again!

Shiki was a welcome surprise after a long, hot (100 degree+) motorcycle ride. I swear this was the best chicken fried rice I've ever had. The staff was friendly and the place was nice.
