10/10 This place is friggin good and the portions are decent with reasonable pricing. Was worried after Chettinad closed, but 185th is the new spot. They spot skimp out on spice and real flavor. Was great to have the mutton biryani with no gamey flavor or those who don't like that. The fried fish was great! And of course the curries were full flavored. The service was super good and friendly. And the seating and restaurant were spacious, calm, and clean (a nice change from others). Would definitely recommend and will come back!

We had a starter and a curry with some naan. We got the Thaliava veg and Mughlai paneer and they were both delicious. The naan was perfect! Crispy but also soft. They have Chikoo shake too!!

Ordered noodles for takeout. Singapore noodles were just an overcooked mushy watery lump that were a bad attempt at zero effort 2 minute instant noodles. Even tasted like instant noodles tastemaker. Not worth more than $2 that too for barely being edible. Absolute garbage.Edit- Want to add that this kind of food was given after a wait of 45 minutes! This accompanied with the rude service who did not give a straight answer after repeated requests for an approximate time. They kept ignoring us whenever we tried to enquire about our order.Never coming back and definitely not recommending.

Very good food! Excellent quality, flavor and presentation. Service was good, slight delays here and there but nothing to prevent us from coming back. The one notable issue we had with the experience was completely avoidable. The staff seemed to have a practice of spraying a heavy dose of a very strong air freshener throughout the dining area. This happened twice during our visit. The smell of the spray was overwhelming, irritating and completely unnecessary. The restaurant smelled fine without it. I would kindly suggest that the spray not be used again and the dining experience would be greatly improved!

This Review is Directly to the MANAGEMENT:WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE by far in the area.Went for dinner dine-in on a Wednesday, just a party of 2 and we placed 2 entree orders at 7:30pm. Didn’t get our food even at 8:30pm, no update from the ONE Serving person also about our order. At that point we wanted to leave but as a COURTESY, we waited at the front counter for atleast 5 mins before someone showed up. Even then there is no time estimate so we CANCELLED our order and left . No-one from the management is even there to bother about how customers are feeling waiting for 1-1/2hour to get their food. Terrible experience.

Been here twice and food's been great both times. I've been sad about Chettinad closing down, but I'm glad I came out to try this place, which will likely be my new go-to.

185th & Indian serves up some very nice Indian food. Their menu includes both vegetarian and meat items. I have ordered food from them several times and it's always been very tasty. The only negative point here is their food is always quite spicy even tho I always request it mild. Since their food is good, I just tone down the heat with some raita. But if you're very sensitive to spicy food, be prepared. If they could learn to tone down the heat in their food it would be more enjoyable.

The food here is good. No problem there. But I came for lunch today and wanted to order the lunch box as a dine-in option. They wouldn't allow it. Only for to-go orders. So, I left. Apparently, it's not a problem to cook and serve the food; you just can't have it on a plate.

My self and my wife had goat dum biryani , goat fry biryani , gobi Manchuria , nelluru chapala pulusu, konseema kodi , Apollo fish , double ka meeta , bonda . We loved each and every dish. Specially goat dum biryani has a wonderful aroma , we end up eating two biryanis in one go. You will really enjoy the food and service here. I strongly recommend to everyone

My husband and I ate here for the first time today. We were running errands on this side out of town and read good reviews and thought the name of the restaurant was fun. And we are so glad we did! The restaurant is very clean and tidy, the service was excellent! We did not have to wait, our waiter was patient, thorough, and our water glasses were never empty, prompt offer of the bill, review of the bill, and he was very kind. And the food was delicious! The flavor of the tandoori sampler was delicious, butter naan was crisp, warm and flavorful. The tikka masala, pakora and sauce were delicious. We do not live close by, but we will for sure be back again, and it will be worth the drive. The steady line of delivery persons picking up orders while we were there, obviously means lots of folks feel the same way. My husband and I would recommend you try it, and order a few things. You won't regret it.
