😀We had 808 Grinds cater for a luau we were having for our employees! They were easy to work with, timely and of course the food was sensational! Thank you 808!
808 has some familiar dishes as well as a few unique twists. Everything I try has been delicious. Mainly I go with the 808 combo of their unique fried chicken and Kahlua pig. The mac salad is good, and I love the habanero teriyaki sauce. I recommend eating in for the fried chicken because the crispiness is slightly dampened, literally, if it spends any time in a take out container.
Outside seating has a nice isolated feel. You are not far off of the road but the landscaping does a good job of hiding it. It does remind me of Oahu a bit during the Oregon summer.
Parking is extremely limited, but I have never been turned away without a spot. Carpooling is a wise choice.

This is a really good place to have a casual Hawaiian-style meal, you should eat here! I've been visiting for years since I was working at Intel down the street and have continued after leaving. You can take the food to go but we've really enjoyed eating at the restaurant in one of the nice outdoor areas. The food is plated very attractively, not just plopped onto a plate. Our favorite area outside has round tables with umbrellas and mature bamboo plants that block some of the commotion from Cornell Road. We've tried other Hawaiian-style restaurants but feel this is the best from a food/service/location/music point of view.

The restaurant is very cute. They had a small indoor dining area, and a really nice screened outdoor dining area. Everything seemed very clean. The prices weren't bad. They gave generous portions. We ordered food to go. The service was very friendly, and quick with preparing our orders. I'm sure I will be eating there again.

Great place to grab a bite to eat. We went before going to next level and it was a great way to start the day. I got the chicken sandwich and it was great. Massive I only ate half and took the other half to go. I’m not a local to Portland but if I was I’d visit often.

Food was alright. I've had better. The fish didn't taste fresh at all. I got the Spicy Ahi Poke. My husband had pork and chicken. The pork was really salty. The mac salad was pretty plain. It didn’t taste like anything. It was sad that we had a bad experience. The inside is very small. If you are ordering food to go, I would just wait outside. There is nowhere to stand inside.
