Absolutely amazing place! Best pizza in the PNW. Well worth the $6 toll back and forth from our hotel in Cascade Locks.

Great spot, food is good, but not much selection besides salads, burgers and sandwiches. Beer selection is great!

Food was okay. They messed up my husbands order and not impressed. Service was decent except waiting for utensils for 10 minutes.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Ordered the pork nachos - chips tasted stale, covered in so much sauce and no cheese. We also ordered 2 burgers- it was so hot like it had been microwaved and no seasoning. Tots were ice cold. Worse food — save your money.

Yeah, this was great - simple and to the point of what I was after. Asked for a req on food and got it, and was great. Went to watch baseball and have a drink - can't complain. Staff was all super friendly and cracked jokes with us. Def coming back.

This place is casual, friendly, and easy to get to. It's in downtown Hillsboro on the corner of Main and 2nd (if you cross 2nd, you've gone too far). It's street parking only.

Their menu is typical bar fare with a flair. My husband and I went with some friends. Two of us ordered their grill cheese sandwich, and you had the option of adding bacon. I don't eat pork, so my friend suggested we ask if they could add smoked salmon instead (they have smoked salmon nachos). It was NOT a problem at all; how refreshing to hear that. I'm also GF, and again, they have GF buns that were very tasty. I ordered sweet potato fries with my sandwich, and my friend ordered onion rings. We were both very happy! My husband ordered their turkey club with onion rings and said it was very good. My other friend ordered the veggie burger with the chips and salsa. She said it was good, but a bit spicy, both the burger and salsa. I look forward to going back.

I’ve gotten food from Backwoods multiple times. And i’ve been inside for a beer on one occasion. The service was good, and the beer was good, and the food was really good. I’ve had the Big city burger, the pulled pork sandwich, and the bbq burger and they have all been delicious. I also highly recommend the beer cheese. Good stuff.

Rooftop dining on a great night. Service was quick and friendly. Bacon Bleu cheeseburger and Cajon tots were top notch and paired nicely with the marionberry cider.

Fantastic beer and food. Great burgers (Hillsburger a winner!), lots of flavor, quality ingredients. Beers are first rate, well-balanced hazy IPA one of the best I've had. Dynamite tots and BBQ sauce. Great service from a really fun staff.

My husband and I came here for our 6th anniversary. Chill and relaxing environment. The employees are very kind and attentive. The bar tender was great and the drinks were delicious. The food for the most part was good says my husband, who had a bbq burger. I am not a big fan of salmon and wanted to try the salmon nachos... I don't know what I was thinking. I didn't like it. I took it to go and my son enjoyed them at home. If you're a fan of salmon you may enjoy them. The vault looked cool, I would have liked to eat in there. They have hand washing stations outside of the bathroom as well which was nice because I just wanted to wash my hands before I ate. I would recommend.
