We've eaten here many times. All the sandwiches are tasty, with generous portions. Very good, unique beer selection. Great atmosphere: we normally eat in the main bar or restaurant, but the party room (old bank vault) was perfect for our group of about 24 people, plus the upstairs patio is a nice place to hang when the weather is nice. Highly recommended.

Cool spot to hang out, but the food is inconsistent. I’ve tried this location multiple times since they opened and it’s disappointing we can’t rely on a good meal.

Sorry that we picked this restaurant for my granddaughter’s 18th birthday. We had a group of. 11 Adults and two children. The waitress asked for which people would be on which check and put it in her computer. She was taking our order on then the order started coming out. Their children drinks were terrible. They got Shirley Temple and strawberry lemonades, and they were weak and no flavor then the order started coming out for dinner and many were wrong and had to be sent back. Two orders came out after the rest of the party were done with their meals. The food was not good. We’ve eaten here before and felt it was good hence why we brought a birthday party here. It was absolutely terrible pretty much ruined my granddaughter’s birthday experience. As we are getting ready to pay a different person came out and asked us to explain who was on which bill ea person was on which we had already done prior To ordering this cause some confusion because people had started to move around And their billing is depending on which seat you were sitting in. At 8:15They rushed us out the door we had friends that had come from a distance to see family that would be leaving soon, and we were rushed to say our goodbyes and leave. There will be five families that will never want to experience this restaurant again.

Backwoods, I want to love you, I really do but every time I've tried a new dish from the menu I have left disappointed. The ingredients taste right out of the freezer section of the restaurant supply. The rooftop, the service, and the drinks are top notch so if the flavors could be brought up to that level you would knock it out of the park.

No reason to even reserve a table. No tables available and another couple had the same problem. Beer was warm and the hamburger’s were not worth it.

Solid downtown spot in Hillsboro! Great sweet potato fries and plentiful beer selection. They always have a sour on tap!

Love the atmosphere, but both the last two times I've been there, the bartender has been less-than-knowledgeable about the hard/fruit ciders.

After reading these reviews wondering what happened when we visited went to up stairs patio you have to order at the bar then sit down and wait took about 15min put are food down somehow got the two orders crossed up? Told the waitresses this is not right took the orders back to the kitchen food returned in about 12min went to grab a tot noticed it was cold opened my burger felt warm more on the cold side like it was cooked 20min ago Told the waitress my food is cold it's like all they did was took the to plates moved the food around and called it good she told me it just came off the grill asked her why is it cold does all your food come off the grill cold if you want me to pay $41.00 for to burgers I want them fresh and hot after going back and forth with her she sent the manager over saying I was swearing at her don't remember swearing never yelled just got tired of having to argue with her over cold food i didn't want this, manager was a joke just kept repeating himself over and over about arguing with his staff, told him you should be talking to your staff about arguing with your customers i know the difference between hot and cold food he offered to remake are order at this point just wanted my money back did not want these people touching my food again when the manager went to get are money the table next to us said they heard the whole thing not once did you raise your voice and never heard me swear at her what a terrible experience all we wanted was to eat lunch and what we ordered and hot went down the street to the food carts to Ed's Philly cheese steaks give him 5stars if your reading this save your money on two $40.00 burgers and go to the food carts lot cheaper and hot food

Absolutely amazing place! Best pizza in the PNW. Well worth the $6 toll back and forth from our hotel in Cascade Locks.

Great spot, food is good, but not much selection besides salads, burgers and sandwiches. Beer selection is great!

Food was okay. They messed up my husbands order and not impressed. Service was decent except waiting for utensils for 10 minutes.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Ordered the pork nachos - chips tasted stale, covered in so much sauce and no cheese. We also ordered 2 burgers- it was so hot like it had been microwaved and no seasoning. Tots were ice cold. Worse food — save your money.
