Was told before hand the service was bad. However being a local I had to see for myself. No one came to help me after waiting 15 mins. Then got charged extra for s sauce I didn’t order. I wanted to love this place. I came back today and again had horrible service. I won’t be back.

It was ok. Nice place but the food needs work. Pulled pork was not great. Buffalo chicken not great. Fried pickels were good though. Beer was ok most of them tasted watered down and a little flat. Maybe it's one of those places to just stick with a burger.

It was super nice and I loved the place. It's kinda a hidden but not. The server was sweet and very attentive. The food was amazing. Everyone loved their burgers and or chicken n tots. Best chicken and tots plate I've ever had. The raspberry lemonade was super good sweet and refreshing. I can't wait to come back especially for date night. I'm so glad we have this place in Portland with great prices, plenty of food, great service and great place to be in. Had a great time.

Well it's been a while since my last review and I had to try this fairly new place in downtown Hillsboro the staff very courteous and friendly and an atmosphere to match that's the reason for two stars but the service was a five as far as the burger goes it was a two star burger all day long we had three burgers between us and all three were well first the potato bun dry no soft bun and on the dry side the patty dry not juicy no fat content it tasted unseasoned and just plain bland they had grill marks but they almost reminded me of already cooked frozen patties I don't know or but that was our take on them and we were able to eat half of them with plenty of tea and water to help the sweet potato fries were crispy and nicely salted and our appetizer the fried pickles were really tasty I'll have to come back and try their sandwiches I had my eye on the Cuban maybe a better choice I'll post that review later it was more ambiance than taste on the burger and for the three of us was $70 not including tip a lil steep for a dry burger but you learn and move on lol I hope my review helps you out and may your burger be juicy and tasty happy dining and thanks for your time..

Bad service and rude bartenders. Was excited about the rooftop but would not return for that reason

We visited the Backwoods Brewing Company last night, and it was a very nice first experience. We went with another couple and the food and beverage menu was quite extensive so everyone had plenty of choices. I had the Cuban Sandwich and it was excellent. The bread was also a perfect style for the sandwich. They offer tater tots and your choice of dipping sauces or sweet potato fries with all of their sandwiches. I chose the garlic aioli and it was so good. There was also a Hillsburger ordered and two people ordered the Avocado, Bacon and Chicken Sandwich, and all were excellent. One person had a margarita, two had beer, which is their specialty, and I had a very nice red blend wine. Virginia was our server and she was so pleasant and engaging. She mentioned that the Backwoods Brewing Company had been opened only about 4 months, but they evidently have their execution together. The person that delivered our food was also quite friendly. Very impressive visit, and it will become a regular stop in Hillsboro.

My first time here, and I'm impressed. Their IIPA was solid, the Hillsburger was delicious, and the salad I got with it was great -- for example, no iceberg. Classy/cozy inside (reminds me of Deschutes), and friendly staff, too!

Stopped in for dinner tonight to "celebrate" my birthday with family (sadly, no birthday treats offered here). With eight people, we were able to secure the table by the front window. Drink orders were made and filled quickly, and the same was true with the dinner orders. Lots of pretzel to go around and tots a plenty. I had the BBQ Pork sandwich, which was very tasty. Two times here since opening, and I am liking it.

I really like this place best at the quieter times of the day. The food is wonderful with a good selection. GF is offered for those who desire it. The menu is smallish but with a good variety. Pub menu. Our service has always been quick and thoughtful. I appreciate the cleanliness here. My only super small issue is how loud it gets when it is a busier time. It's definitely not a star lowering reason, but if anyone wants to converse, go at a less busy time. Be sure to go, especially if you remember this pub as the old bank. They still have the vault door, which is cool to see. Memories.

Food was pretty good. We were there on a Friday night and it was busy so service was a little slow but that was to be expected. The Pecan Pie Porter was great.

The place is really cool. Slick lumber sexual vibe. Drinks are pricey though. Beer is good but could be a bit more bold.

I've been here several times now and have been very happy upon leaving! Great food, drinks, and lovely waitstaff. I highly recommend the Pulled Pork Nachos. We will be coming back often!

Just stopped in for a beer. I had a stout and my wife had an IPA. No prices visible on menu. Stout was $5.00, the IPA was $7.75. In a state that boast craft beer, will stick to some regular spots for beer at a reasonable price. Food looked good. The outdoor seating upstairs will make this place popular in the warm weather.
