China Wok in Hillsboro instantly takes me back to the kind of down-home Chinese spot I grew up with in New Jersey. It’s not flashy or overhyped—just good, honest food made right. From the first bite, it reminded me of the takeout joints I used to frequent as a kid: comforting, consistent, and always satisfying.
Their chicken wings are the best. They’re easily some of the best around and a must-order every time. Whether I’m craving pork fried rice or hot and spicy soup, China Wok is my go-to.
This place is my comfort food. The portions are generous, the flavors are spot on, and the service is always friendly. There’s something about this place that feels familiar in the best way—like stepping into a memory with every order.
If you’re looking for classic, no-frills Chinese takeout with heart, China Wok delivers every time.
We order delivery from China Wok at least once every two weeks for last five years. Nice family, great food
The food was exactly what I was hoping it would be, so fresh and flavorful. The lunch portion was enough for 2-3 meals.
They are the best Chinese food place ever!! Love everything we have tried. Always on time.
It's awesome. Focused on the food.
Eat here probably 2x / month. Always great food. The couple that runs the place always happy and friendly. Big portions
This is our go-to take out place in Hillsboro. There is limited seating at the restaurant so we either have them deliver or we pick it up. Never been disappointed here
I ordered the general tso and it's made me sick twice... can't say I'll be back
If you’re in the area, pretty reasonable Chinese food. It has good flavor and isn’t too greasy. Their rice is especially good. The Mongolian beef was alright. I wasn’t a fan of their spring rolls. The people running it are super nice. An array of items at good prices & portions.
This little place is pretty good. Been coming here for a few years because it’s always the best Chinese food in the area.
Not a lot of seating, it’s more of a takeaway kind of place. But yes they do have a few tables.
I’ve tried many items in the menu and they’re always solid (although Americanized).
They’re also so very friendly which makes such a difference doesn’t it? It’s just nice to be helped by someone who is smiling and has friendly banter. Especially at a position that’s not exactly a glorious job, but I’ve always left here smiling, and that helps bring me back time and again.

This is what I remember Chinese food from the 90s tasting like. It's amazing. You won't regret it.
Pork Lo-mein best around
Consistently very good Chinese food at a fair price. Only for takeout. Not really set up to dine in.
Delicious food and decent prices for the times we're living in.
Today, I visited China Wok for the first (and the last) time. I ordered the Salt and Pepper Squid. The squid was extremely tough and rubbery. It was nearly impossible to chew it. It was cook/fried in salt and pepper, and without being dipped in any sort of a batter. I had a horrible experience and don't recommend this place to anyone.
