I wanted to like this place, but my breakfast sandwich was a mess. I literally couldn't pick it up and the biscuit fell apart. I know biscuits crumble, but this didn't hold together at all. The bacon was cold and limp. Cheese not melted and hardly any egg. I couldn't finish it, which is a rarity for me. I usually can push through. Toddler enjoyed his cookie, but not hard to impress him. Staff wasn't particularly friendly, either. Probably won't be back.

Revising my review from a few years back. Service has gone way downhill, extremely slow. The food has also lost its unique flavor and is just a typical bakery now. We stopped coming here and when we do randomly stop by I am reminded that it isn't the same. My guess is that the owner is less present now, which has caused the decline.

The care taken on the cakes I've ordered from here has been phenomenal. I've gotten a couple of birthday cakes here and they always go above and beyond. Absolutely worth spending the money to get such a high quality result.
I discovered an exceptional coffee and bakery establishment. The staff were remarkably welcoming and friendly, including the bakers and kitchen staff. Their warm greetings significantly enhanced our experience. We purchased several pastries to enjoy later. The Decadent Bar is highly recommended; it is truly irresistible.

Tried this place for the first time and purchased a few different pastries. My favorite was the poppy passion fruit scone; I’d definitely go back for that. My partner enjoyed the tiger fritter (chocolate and vanilla fritter with a glaze and orange zest) although I thought it was a little on the dry side. We tried their lavender raspberry coconut cupcake and I was excited because I love lavender flavored desserts but this one was a bit too overpowering. I know you’re going to get a very floral taste with lavender but it was too much in this case. Last we were super stocked for the horchata donut but were let down by the taste. The texture was great but it lacked any flavor resembling horchata it just tasted like a normal glazed donut, not even a hint of cinnamon in it. The girl who attended us was super nice and knowledgeable of everything and the place looked cozy. I’d like to give it another try in the future and try their savory items and coffee.

Our go-to Hillsboro bakery for their Smokey Robinson cookie, chewy donuts (made with potato starch?), and last but not least, their biscuits sandwich! Plenty of cute indoor and outdoor seating available. Wifi available too. Don't forget to try their sister location Collective Market that's right next door.
