This is my go to coffee shop, I come here 4-5 days of the week to get my coffee before work. Recently I had the opportunity to try the house made clam chowder, and let me tell you it was great. I eat a lot of clams, so you know I know what I'm talking about ?. I could really taste the ocean in each bite. Owners/management should really consider rebranding as "Clam Central Bakery". Staff are friendly, coffee is amazing, and the clams are even better. 6/5 stars.

I actually frequented this place quite a bit. I recently bought a pack of English muffins and went to use them a few days later and realized that they were already molded. I took them into the store and asked them if they had perhaps been dusted by flour or if they were actually moldy and the person at the register just said they look moldy and didn’t offer a replacement or anything. Really sucks to when you want to support local businesses and this is what you get.

Favorite bakery I've ever been to, their pastries are exquisit! And the pumpkin chai they made me is exactly how a robust flavorful gourmet coffee should taste, Starbucks could never... and the staff was so friendly and warm you can tell they love what they're doing for you. Definetly a spot I'd bring other people to, to introduce them!

Nice to have a bakery in this downtown Hillsboro location - I wanted to love it, but after 2 visits with similar experiences, it didn't hit the mark. Food is good and coffee is good, but the value for it isn't there (too expensive for the format/contents of the meals). Service is just ok.. not rude or unprofessional in my 2 visits, but lacks warmth and feels rushed. Would prefer warm/charming service instead of cold/hipster/cool vibe for this place.

Great food & pastries. Wheelchair accessible. Don't lock their bathrooms, adding to a very accessible environment. Nice seating outside. This place is awesome. I'll be back!

Great atmosphere! Food that has the potential to be great and service that could be better. I speak of their veggie grinder sandwich made with the seeded baguette that is simply too hard to bite into even after it is toasted - I like the sandwich having had it at the Cedar Mill location where it is generally a lot easier to eat like a regular sandwich. Also, the service could be better with a bit more awareness - two experiences within the same week is a bit much to be a coincidence. The first time, I paid for the sandwich and sat at my table waiting for a good 15+ minutes only to see all the customers behind me getting their sandwiches delivered while mine was not even being made. After I alerted them, they realized they had a printing issue that caused my order to be missed by the staff. And today, I waited again at the table after ordering and paying only to notice that they incorrectly packaged and set the sandwich aside as a takeout order though the cashier had clearly indicated that I was dining in. The items are a bit pricey compared to your average place but then that has to be backed up with quality and service where it matters.

They have a veggie sandwich that is always excellent. The vegetables and bread are fresh and delicious. I do wish they had some vegan-friendly baked goods. Even when I am meeting someone for coffee who is not a vegan, if I want a muffin or something, I might be more likely to go somewhere that at least has some baked goods I can eat.

They use ridiculously tough bread (seeded baguette) on some sandwiches, so everything squishes out the sides as you gnaw off a bite. I mean really?? Have they ever ate their own sandwiches before? Whose idea was it to use a tough-as-leather bread roll on a sandwich?
I bought this sammich to go so I didn't discover this until I got home, otherwise I would've returned it immediately. Or even better, force the cook to take a bite while I watch in amusement.
Flavors were good so there's that.
