Helvetia Vineyards & Winery

We had a charming visit at Helvetia. The wine was delicious, the setting was relaxing and beautiful, the staff very friendly. It was down to earth and unpretentious, unlike many tastings. The resident puppy was a major bonus. I would go again if I'm ever in the area again.

We had such lovely time. Jo and John greeted us as we came up the steps of their darling, historic winery. We had so much fun learning about Brix, their history and tasting their delicious wines. We look forward to booking a full winery tour next time.

Very enjoyable ordered a bottle of the reserve Pinot and loved it.

Helvetia wines is a complete gem. The staff is great and very knowledgeable about the workings on the land. We were very exited to meet the owner John and honestly spent a half an hour just asking questions and getting to know each other. Bonus moment was when he told us that if we were flying Alaskan Airlines, they will ship up to 12 bottles for free. I could have cried in that moment as they can not ship to my home state. A Family owned business is great to support and they really make you feel appreciated.

We had a wonderful experience with John. The tour was extremely informative, and the tasting and pairings were delightful. This vineyard has a very intimate and rustic charm, and the wines were delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Great experience, learned a lot about soils, climate, history, and wine growing in the region. Also, about how the vineyard operates, and got to taste a variety of wines and pairings. Well-presented and a much-enjoyed experience. I recommend it to anyone interested in local wine culture.

John was awesome... I learned alot and my husband learned to enjoy wine...tonight he actually shared a bottle with me!

What a find near Portland! We had a great tour with John and learned so much about this new Tualatin Valley AVA. We enjoyed the wine, setting, vibes and music on Wednesday night. Highly recommend a visit.

The grounds are beautiful with tables for you to enjoy a picnic lunch (bring your lunch) during the tasting. Overlooks grapevines & fields of lavender. Friendly and informative staff and dog friendly. Wine was very nice.

We spent a lovely afternoon at this winery, tasted six delicious wines and bought two bottles. Great service by our sommelier.

I recently did a wine tasting at Helvetia Winery and had an amazing time! Jo led the wine tasting for my friend and I, and she was very warm and welcoming. John, the owner, was on site during my visit, and he was more than happy to answer all my questions about the vineyard and wine making process. Both Jo and John were very knowledgeable, and they made my experience at Helvetia a memorable one. Highly recommend a winetasting here!
