What a wonderful experience. We booked a tour of the winery and were blown away by how thorough and detailed it was. We got to see every step of the wine making process. The wines we tried were all excellent and we learned about the soil properties and growing conditions that affect the flavor during the tasting. We were even lucky enough to meet the resident cat and Labrador. Highly recommend a visit if you're looking for a relaxing afternoon and a truly Oregonian experience.
We had a great time. Tina is a great host and has a lot of knowledge about wine, history and nature. We will be back for sure!
An enjoyable and personal experience.
Loved coming here! It was a cozy and intimate vibe for our wine tasting, Derek was an amazing host and really made it special. We can't wait to go back again!
A very mom and pop winery. Very low key and service was just okay. The winery has been there for 28 years and it shows. Wines was a 4, ambience was a 1 or 2. The tasting pours were very small to other wineries we have visited. Overall 2 1/2 to 3 stars. There are better wineries to visit.
We had a wonderful few hours at Helvetia. Derek did a great job explaining the wine and making us feel welcome and relaxed. Love the wine!
Our first winery as a couple/family since we moved here last December. A beautiful drive and lovely indoor/outdoor space. Derek made our tasting a 5 ⭐️ experience. He is fun, personable, knowledgeable, and genuine. We enjoyed meeting the owner and Buddy the dog. I would have like one more white in our tasting, but great nonetheless.
Celebrated our 24 year wedding anniversary with some quiet time and tasted some wonderful wines. The uniqueness of the whole experience was refreshing.
What a lovey winery with great wines and nice staff. The owner John came and talked to us like we were old friends. They are also a Harvest Host if you do that.
A beautiful little Vinyard in the countryside close to Portland.

Derrick the host was just lovely! Very informative, warm & friendly. He made me feel at home. The cute cat and pup were also a great addition to the experience, not to mention the delicious Pinot Noirs ?
John did a great tour of the property for us and was very informative.
We had a really nice time
Cute winery, the owner John and the volunteer Cassie were both super nice and knowledgeable. The winery is a house with a nice outdoor patio overlooking the vineyards. There is a super friendly dog that roams the property that we enjoyed getting to pet while drinking our wine on the patio! If you aren't a dog person, don't worry, he'll stay aloof!
My partner and I just visited today and must say, it’s peaceful, house is beautiful, music was fantastic, nature was pleasant, the wine 10 out of 10. We will return great service! We will be returning for the Wednesday night shows.
Wine tasting as it should be! Our family had a great wine tasting experience on Sunday, September 8, sitting on the back porch...no pomp, no frills, just great wine, tasty smoked salmon, and enjoyable conversation with our host. The surroundings were as wonderful as the wine, with lots of room for families. We joined the wine club and will definitely be back for more fun tastings.
