This was by far the worst experience I’ve had in Oregon. The woman taking my order asked me to repeat it three times, clearly not paying attention. When I pulled up to the window and paid, she informed me that she had only charged me for four drinks, even though the fifth had already been made. Some serious training is needed here — the service was absolutely unacceptable.

Been going there for years. Getting worse.
People working, incompetent, and rude.

We stopped by the Human Bean on Easter while we waited for the egg hunt at Shute park. LOVED IT. I had their Mexican mocha and it was delicious.
I love this place because they place a lil chocolate covered espresso bean on top of your lid! When I was younger and lived in the area, I loved buying their bags of chocolate covered espresso beans. I forgot to get one this time around.
Overall, great lovely atmosphere. Staff was kind and friendly! And all the drinks were great!

One of the few places that is open at the crack of dawn. Thank you, Human Bean employees, for helping me get my day super caffeinated!

I'm confused. I came knowing my bus would be coming in 14 minutes, it's right next to the bus stop so that shouldn't be a problem, I've done it here multiple times. There were 3 employees working, 6pm on a WEEK DAY and only one other customer. I ordered 2 small drinks. 14 minutes pass and so does my bus. I get my drink 15 minutes in, then wait an extra 10 minutes for a small kids hot chocolate then had to remind them to make it? I was there for over 20 minutes with 3 employees working it's crazy

VERDICT: an oasis in a concrete jungle.
Not only is the coffee good, but the sheer experience of going here is really what makes this place a gem.
If you're familiar with places like Nordstrom's or McMenamins what happened to enjoy Bridgeport village you will certainly enjoy this place.
I really do mean that it's an oasis because it's simply different from the surroundings and in such a stark way it's almost unfathomable.
The interior is nice, soothing , calm & comforting.
They also put a little bean on your coffee which is really nice because I remember Dutch Brothers doing that a while ago and they stopped doing that at my location that I currently visit.
So that's a really nice touch.
I also have a drive-thru so if you need to get something to go, perfect!
They also have outdoor seating as well.
Highly recommended if you need a bit of normalcy in a chaotic world.
Parking: A large but somewhat very congested parking area

Expensive but delicious. Customer service could be better. Drinks could be less sloppy.
