I was worried, my bill was a certain amount but then got a text from my bank where I was charged almost $25 more . Be careful when paying with a debit card or credit card they will over charge you. I am not happy with this . Seems like a scam when paying with card and not cash

Always happy and eager to come back when I’m finished my meal:) have brought at least 3 different people here and all were very happy with the choice. The bathrooms are also not only clean but is also baby friendly! The only negative is that the live bands are incredibly loud it hurts my ears and makes it quite hard to have a conversation. Thank you everyone for being SOOO kind SO attentive, SO patient and lovely all around!! It’s rare in this town. Maybe I should just support my people /Latino- owned businesses lol. Keep up the good work and I’ll see y’all soon! Besos!

Don’t go if you’re black. The customers were racist and the staff couldn’t care less that I was offended. They also never came back to check on us after we got our food, to see if we wanted anything else, never gave us the water we asked for and took forever to give us our check. The racist remarks were made on the karaoke microphone as I was walking out.

Kid-friendliness: In my opinion i wouldn't say this is 100% a family restaurant because is more a cantina style but you can go with your kids tho.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. 90 percent od the items on the menu were different than any you would see at everybother one. Their sea food really is the star here.....ceviche de pescado was on point, as well as their oysters, arrechada, and even the beans were seriously impressive.

Disappointing Experience.I had high hopes , given its reputation, but my recent visit left me thoroughly disappointed. From the service to the food, almost nothing met the mark.First, the service was extremely slow. It took nearly 30 minutes just to get our drinks, and another 45 minutes for the food to arrive. The staff seemed disorganized, and we had to remind them twice about our order.As for the seafood, it was shockingly bad. The shrimp was overcooked and rubbery, lacking any real flavor. They not only screwed up my order, and did nothing to make it right the shrimp tasted off, almost as if they weren't fresh which was bland and a bada taste almost as if they were rotten and For the high price, I expected something much more flavorful.The atmosphere didn’t help either.Overall, it was a waste of money and time. I would not recommend [las islitas Hillsboro ] to anyone looking for quality seafood. I left feeling frustrated and unsatisfied. THEY CHARGE US EVEN WHEN IT WAS THEIR FAULT TO BRING THE RIGHT ORDER OR MAKE IT RIGHT TO US. I DIDN'T FEEL LIKE ARGUING FOR THE CHARGE JUST PAID IT AND LEFT BUT ONE THING FOR SURE IS WE'RE NOT EVER COMONG BACK. KEEP IT UP ISLITAS AND YOU'LL BE UT OF BUSINESS SOON

I ordered a 7 seas plate, and some of the shrimps looked like they were already roting it had dark spots the shrimp, and I order a fajitas plate, and the fajitas were cooked at all
