We stopped here for happy hour on a Wednesday. The place was pretty cute , and I had stopped for a couple of tastings earlier in the day and the beers were really good. We got a lager, the guest Boont Amber and the Barrel Aged porter. Beers were great. We ordered the grilled cheese and soup, the street fish tacos and a quesadilla. The grilled cheese was fine, the soup super peppery and the quesadilla was pretty spicy. The tacos, though pretty simple really hurt my stomach. I'm sure it isn't always like this, but there was one person that was bartender and server. The bartender was friendly enough and did a good job, but it's a lot of ground to cover. I would definitely go back for the beer if out at Orenco again.

It's a brewery restaurant. Not a old school brewery. Great happy hour with a vrey good selection of beer. Will stop in again.

We came here during Orencofest and the service was beyond terrible. The menu listed 16oz beers but was served in 12oz plastic cups. We brought it up to the server about paying for 16 and getting 12, and we were hit with an unexpected argument. If we knew we were going to have such a bad experience, we would have never tipped but we had to order at the counter and tipped when we paid. No need to return.

We've had the opportunity to visit this place on multiple occasions and every time we order something different. We've tried happy hour, lunch and weekend brunch and each time it did not disappoint. Try the bacon cheddar hash w/poached egg-it's sweet and savory bites of seasoned potatoes tossed in bacon ham and a creamy yolk that will make your heart and tastebuds melt! Delicious food and an open environment great for socializing. Outdoor and indoor seating and a wall of windows that open to the patio. They've got an awesome weekend brunch with BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS for $25 w/ your food order (and they are very generous pours- not in a champflute like other places). They're a brewery but we haven't had any of the beers. If it's anything like everything else we've tried, I'm sure they're great too.Right on the MAX line and a parking garage in Orenco Station so you don't have to stress about parking.

I wrote a negative review after a waitress wasnât very nice when I visited, I was pretty upset, but I decided to edit my original post. The whole restaurant doesnât need to be held accountable for one member of staffs attitude that day. (Benefit of the doubt, maybe she was having a bad day.) The biscuits and gravy here are good and I like the outside seating.
Overpriced food, inconsistent service, and the owner or manger obviously doesnât care about whatâs going on. I ordered a beer and they literally pulled a glass of beer out of the fridge instead of pouring it. I was curious if anyone else had this experience so I searched through other reviews and I quickly found that someone else experienced this too. I asked my waiter why and they eluded to something about the beer that they âbrewâ being down that day which I mentally called BS on. Found a hair in my food, witnessed employees talking bad about a customer, and I waited too long for everything. With all the great bars in Hillsboro and Portland, you can afford to SKIP THIS ONE.

Nice atmosphere and clean restaurant. I came in for brunch and ordered the mazama omlette. As described it says stuffed with cheddar cheese and grilled onions (among a couple other meats) when it came there was maybe a tablespoon of cheese sprinkled on top, non inside the omelette and the grilled onions were raw. I took one bite and that was it. The server asked about it and I explained. She still charged me full price. That service was unacceptable, why should customers pay for something that was not as advertised? I live in orenco station and will not be coming back.
Went here for the first time and ordered a beer. This is supposed to be a brewery, but instead of pouring me a beer, they took a filled glass out of the refrigerator. They said it had been a mistake pour for a different customer. It had gone completely flat and been sitting in a cooler. They didnât even offer to pour me a fresh one. For a brewery, they donât seem to take much pride in their beer.

I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am to have discovered this absolute gemstone. I go here with a work buddy of mine on our lunch hour, and I have never been disappointed. My two favorite items on the menu are the fried chicken sandwich, and then the bacon jam burger. Both delectable and unique to other restaurants! The friesâŠprobably my favorite battered fries literally anywhere Iâve ever been. The beer menu is always excellent and full of great choices. And they always have specials going on in both food AND beer. Most recent special was the steak and frites (steam and fries). Steak was cooked PERFECTLY medium rare, exactly how I asked for it. And the fries were the perfect compliment. Hereâs a trick: there is a parking garage directly behind the brewery under the apartment building. You need to go to the meter to get a pass for your dashboard, but the first two hours are FREE! That means plenty of parking!
If you are looking for amazing American food done super well and elevated above the classics, this is the place to go. The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need, and have always been attentive and have been able to answer every question I throw their way. Theyâve even gone out of the way to make suggestions for improvements to what Iâve been ordering and havenât failed me even once.
I hear they have weekend brunch. I am excited to try and will update my review once I get around to going!
