We had high expectations for this place after reading the reviews. We went for miso soup, some sushi and the chirashi bowl. The food doesn’t live up to the expectations. Miso soup is a bit salty. Some fish in the chirashi bowl is not very fresh. The sushi rice is just alright. I guess we have been spoiled by our favorite chirashi place in Bellevue WA.

One of the few spots I regularly visit in the Portland metro area. It’s rare to find sushi that’s both high quality and affordable these days, but this place delivers on both. They once mixed up my order — but not only did they give me the incorrect one, they also made the correct version and gave both to me for free. Great service and great value!

Don't let the strip mall vibe deter you. The sushi is fresh, made to order and DELICIOUS. Staff are friendly and helpful and the restaurant is very clean. Touchscreen ordering inside for take away or you can dine in. A piece of a sushi roll fell off the serving board while waitress was carrying food to us and the restaurant made another 1/2 roll for us. Above and beyond service.

By far, the best sushi I have ever had. Hands down. Period. Fish is always aged excellently. After several visits, I have always found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Making recommendations or even adding a little something extra to a roll upon request. Their non fish selections are wonderful as well. Makes this an excellent choice for my family as there is something for everyone. Tonight I was told that the salmon belly was exceptionally good. Words fail to express how delectable and incredible the piece of nigiri was. To say it melted in my mouth fails to exemplify that as it melted, so did it. Between the texture aperfection. Absolute prefection.

You order at the front, then sit and wait for them to bring the food to your table. There are probably six or so tables. It’s very small. It seems like a step up from conveyor-belt sushi restaurants, since this is made-to-order. But this is a step down from a more formal sushi restaurant with waiters.
