Tasty teriyaki place 😋 the salad dressing is great, Unique with a peppery kick. Only reason I'm not giving 5 star in the chicken portions could be bigger for a $14 platter. Great affordable lunch in Hillsboro.

The best teriyaki restaurant in town with friendly service and great food
First time in and my wife and I loved the grilled flavor of the teriyaki chicken. The spicy did not disappoint either. We will be visiting again for sure.
What a healthy affordable lunch option! First time eating here. Service is fast and friendly. It's quality teriyak, and they do nice little side salads instead of cabbage, which I think is a nice substitute. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm getting lunch in Hillsboro.
I've been getting takeout and eating in person at Nara Teriyaki for years and have have only good experiences. Their portions are huge and delicious. I typically get their fried rice and gyoza, but was very impressed with the spicy pork and noodles my most recent visit.
This korean teriyaki restaurant is one of our favorites. The owner is always cheerful and welcoming with a smile, and the food is reasonably priced and all delicious and hearty. Our favorites are the Beef Teriyaki and the Soon Dubu Stew. During lunch time, they offer even more reasonably priced dishes.

I found out today that they sell dressing ($7) 🥰 We love the taste of the dressing here so much that we are happy to have it at home.🥗
Food has gone downhill since Covid. Hit or miss, the chicken is sometimes dry. The sauce can be super watery (maybe they water it down?) Owner is clearly taking shortcuts somewhere and its affected the food. My biggest complaint: the older lady always has a terrible attitude whenever you ask for more sauce (they will hand you ONE extra sauce if anything…), any sides (as if you aren’t paying with your own money), etc. She will straight up make a stank face and huff and puff in your face. Been coming here probably since 2015 or so… last time today after dealing with her horrible attitude. She’s unapologetically terrible.
Don't order the Bibimbap, they give you a tablespoon of ground beef with your $12.50 meal.

Usually I've always really liked this place, but on my most recent visit I was very disappointed with the food. It was the worst chicken katsu I've ever had- particularly because there was barely any chicken in it. I took pictures of it and there was literally a paper thin amount of chicken in it and it was 95% breading. Our other food was great, so I don't think this place is terrible, but I would strongly caution against ordering the chicken katsu if you go here.
