Asked for Gluten free soy sauce (tamari) they brought a low sodium soy sauce glass container with a sharpied GF on the top. When I asked “is this gluten free tamari inside?” they replied yes.
Consumed it. Got home. Got violently ill. Will not go back, clearly they don’t want to spend the extra $$ to accommodate severe food allergies… and that’s okay…. But just tell me you don’t have any so that I don’t falsely consume it and almost die when I get home.

The sushi is good for the price, but it is so frustrating that they do not stick to their posted hours. I’ve gone on a Saturday night and they were closed. Tuesday at lunch? Closed. It feels like a 50/50 chance whether they’re actually open. I get that it’s a family business and things come up, but this has been going on for a while. A quick update on Facebook or something would make a huge difference. I drive 15 minutes from Cornelius to support them and half the time it’s a wasted trip.

O Sushi isn't the best sushi in the world, but it is a great local place that is always going to have the same great options so you can pop in for lunch or dinner and get good food quick since it's on a conveyor belt. Like any conveyor belt sushi place if there is something you want warm, like gyoza, ask for some fresh ones rather than grabbing from the belt. They also have other great menu items like their ramen.

Kid-friendliness: I order their ramen, plain, and my kids love it. Also the gyoza and simple rolls are popular with them.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, wheelchair spots in the lot and access.

Can only share my experience with take out but what used to be decent sushi became inedible today during a calm lunch session.

The rice tastes old and hard, while seemingly drenched in a congealed brown sauce. It looks like it's been sitting out for hours, and there's no taste of any fresh ingredients. I would have taken it back, but it's not worth the drive.

Came in for a quick lunch and was amazed and the quality. Even more impressed when I checked out and saw the price for everything I'd eaten! What a delightful surprise and excellent experience

If I could give zeros, I would. The tempura items were cold and stale. They were not edible. Ordered a dragon roll and saw that the cook repurposed one of the items from the conveyor and added a very stale and ice cold chewy tempura shrimp. To top it off, we told the manager and hostess, and the response was ‘we can leave it on the conveyor for 3 hours’ (we didn’t ask about the conveyor) and the other said they could ‘reheat the food.’ Seriously, how do you reheat tempura from an inedible and chewy cardboard state? We had three other items and expected to pay for them but not the really bad plates that were not eaten. Guess what? They still charged us!! This was a go to for lunch with friends, but not anymore. I do not recommend.

Dietary restrictions: Restrict your diet and save your wallet from this horrible place!!

We really enjoy this spot. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly. The only thing that could improve is if they got premium radio with no commercials. It’s so annoying to listen to loud commercials while eating.

Stale tempura. Small pieces priced way to high. It's not inflation just cheap practices.

Meal for two ran us 64+$9 tip.Pros:+ The atmosphere is nice. Overall I rather liked the setup of this place. It's very cozy and, besides the tennisball capped chair legs, the interior design is very calming. The loud modern music they were playing didn't match the vibe in my opinion though.+ The proportions are generous for the price. There's a value here that I think they could capitalize on more if they just tinkered with the presentation and quality to make it worth it.+ The unagi nagiri was great. This is my partners favorite dish so we were happy to see it's presentation and proportion was both beautiful and generous. Unfortunately my partner felt the sauce they add on top was a little too sweet. Might just be preference.Cons:- The chefs aren't very attentive to people sitting at the bar. It wasn't very busy.- The server basically tried to scam me and purposefully gave me a cold order and then scoffed at me when I requested what I actually ordered. Skip the story if you don't care but it's funny. The story: I requested an order of fresh baked mussels from the server. The server pointed out that there were two orders on the conveyor belt already, but these had been there for some time before we arrived and I wanted them hot. The server protested again but I explained the former as politely as possible and they relented and left. Who wants cold BAKED mussels??? The server then returned sometime later with two cold baked mussels. They obviously just grabbed them from the belt when we weren't looking, but I didn't protest much. I simply politely pointed out that they were cold and we requested a fresh order. The server suggested he could just put them back in the oven. HELLO??? I politely insist that I just want what I ordered fresh or not at all. He picks up the order of mussels, pauses, scoffs at me and says that's not how customers normally do it. I could have said a lot, like how he obviously just tried to scam me, but I just thanked him for his understanding and once again had to insist that I just want what I ordered. And to top it off, the mussels I got after that were bitter and luke warm.- The Salmon Nigiri looked a little deflated and didn't taste as fresh as I would have liked.- We left feeling unwell.Really hope they refine this place because I really love conveyor belt sushi restaurants. Such a shame.

This is a decent little sushi place for a quick and affordable lunch. Great for folks who work in the area to go in and have a quick bite when you are craving some sushi. It's not sushi that is amazing, but it's fresh and tasty and perfect for a quick lunch.
