Really disappointed in the lack of transparency about their halal meat. I called asking for the name of the brand of their meat or farm name they use so that I can make an informed decision about eating there and they said they didn’t know and they just know it’s halal. I’m sorry but thats a huge red flag. There are mechanical slaughter and hand slaughtered halal meat and it would be nice to know before we go.

I came to Queen Mamas Kitchen sometime last week and had very high expectations and to say the least my expectations were succeeded. The Chicken Filet was my favorite but I also fancied the Fish Pompano and the Lemon mint juice. The desserts were astonishing my personal favorite was the Dubai chocolate Milkshake. The food was enough to make me write a review but the service and interior of the restaurant made sure it was gonna be a 5 star… Honestly if I could give a restaurant 10 stars this would be the one. Lastly the service, this restaurant is family owned and our waiter was named Sully and he made us feel like we were part of the family. He was patient, funny, and would give us recommendations if we asked for them. In conclusion Queen Mamas Kitchen is a MUST if you’re in Portland

Every dish seemed like it had just come from the garden, with flavors that were vibrant, earthy, and beautifully layered. The herbs were bright and the balance of spices was nothing short of masterful. It wasn’t just a meal — it was an experience of what food is supposed to taste like when it's made with intention and rooted in tradition.

Simply one of the best meals of my life. I’ve eaten a variety of Arab cuisine in my life but nothing not even my own cooking, comes close. We had the sampler and the falafel. The Falafel alone is worthy of a novel of writing dedicated to its greatness. Best of my life! The sampler was BEYOND TASTY I loved especially the fatah!
The hosts and Queen Mama herself are so hospitable and I felt as if I was at home with family. The space is perfect, like being transported to a comfy cafe where you can linger and enjoy. I will remember this meal until my last breath. GO!!!

The hospitality is truly top-notch — the staff made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was delicious, and everything was incredibly fresh. I also really appreciated how clean the place was — they even sanitize the tables with Lysol, which shows how much they care. Amazing vibe, great service, and excellent food. Highly recommend!
