Wine is just alright. They don't sell wine by the glass or even by the bottle to drink there for non members. Seems like a bad business model. Some people can't do a full flight due to allergies, or even just like the wines they like and don't want other varietals. PS got to Benza next door. They are lovely, have a great wine, and very accommodating.

The wine is some of the best we've had in the area, especially the 2017 Reserve. With a perfect view of Mt. Hood on a clear day, ample seating, and great service, you don't want to miss Ruby! We take everyone we can to visit!

First time visiting Oregon and this was our first stop. It didn't disappoint! Our host, Glenn (Glen?), greeted us warmly and guided us to the outdoor deck overlooking Mt. Hood. My friend and I ordered different flights, so we got a good taste of their stock. Glenn is knowledgeable of the vinyard, the process, and wine in general, and enjoyed sharing his accumulated knowledge of the area and wines as we peppered him with questions. We are not wine connoisseurs by any stretch of the imagination, but both know what we like. There was much to like, and we're headed back to the East Coast with a few bottles in our luggage. Thank you, Glenn, for making this jewell of a vinyard sparkle.

Such a cute winery! Andrew and his team produce amazing wines, comfortable views, and great hospitality. I could sit here on their outdoor patio and be happy all day! The ambiance is down to earth and comfortable/casual and not pretentious at all. I like their whites and roses here as much as their pinot noirs. They also have a cute private event space, the Nut House, if you're in the hunt. Glad I came here to taste!

My wife and I were up the the Silicon Valley for a family event. And we both are wine lovers. The time was free for the afternoon and we found the tasting room. It was beautiful. The setup was great and we joined the wine club. All I can say is, the Pinot noir and other versatile's are excellent and you will not be disappointed! The attention to our love of wine while conversing with them was not chatter between two people, but was delivered and understood by the attendant. I think the people in the tasting room are very knowledgeable. We were there at the beginning of summer 2023, and the views from the tasting room were spectacular!

Great wine and a nice experience ! We got the vintage flight and my favorite was the 2018 Laurelwood and the 2018 Hendricks Legacy. Also tried and enjoyed both the flat and sparkling Rosés. Nice cheese board for snacking, a super sweet vineyard dog and lots of outdoor seating! Called ahead but not super busy on a Wednesday afternoon. Would recommend!

This visit to a Willamette Valley winery was a highlight of our wine tasting in Oregon. We sat looking over this incredible view in the sunshine; we could faintly see the Mount Hood snow-capped summit from the delightful patio and we were treated to some delicious Oregon wines accompanied by a substantial cheese and charcuterie plate. We found most of the wines to be of high quality and delicious. Our charming guide Eric, was very knowledgeable and made the whole wine-tasting experience very interesting. He left at appropriate times so we could discuss the wines and enjoy the peace and quiet which was very soothing to our souls after the busyness of the cities. Another plus was that Ruby Vineyard and Winery was only a short distance from the suburbs of Portland, with a drive through lovely countryside. We left with 6 favorite bottles, which we were able to consume on our journey with some left over for home! We can now highly recommend this Ruby Vineyard wine-tasting experience and their sustainably raised organic wines, particularly the Hendricks Pinot Noir. We were also unexpectedly pleasantly surprised by the quality of the White Pinot Noir and the Chardonnay. We said we would be back and asked them to build a small bed and breakfast next to their patios, so we could stay and enjoy their view and wines longer!

Would only recommend if you want to spend a lot for a tasting. My husband and I visited on a Monday, the place was empty except for one other couple. We ordered a bottle to share, and were told only members could order bottles. We left and won’t be returning.

Beautifully situated on the east slopes of Bald Peak, come for the immaculate Pinot Noir, stay for the hospitality. We enjoyed live jazz during our Willamette Wine Loop visit.

2 years ago, on our annual girl's trip, my friends and I stumbled upon Ruby winery. I love the sparkling chardonnay so much I took a picture of the bottle. Well, we were back again this year and made sure we stopped by Ruby again. First thing I did before our tasting was order the sparkling chardonnay and it was a lovely as I remember. Jade our hostess was phenomenal! So knowledgable and friendly (also she has great style). I ordered bottles to be shipped this time so I don't have to go without. I highly recommend Ruby and Jade!

They make no mention that you can only buy one bottle per person, so if you go with a friend and share bottles be expected to be severally cut off. For a first time winery experience I was severely disappointed in the limitations on service. Couldn’t even purchase a wine by the glass after the 2 bottles. If you’re looking for a long lasting experience ENJOYING the wine at a winery, this isn’t your place. Funny that they don’t want you to purchase more wine while there to wine taste and experience the wines. Huge thumbs down. The staff was very kind and friendly, however the management with the ridiculous rules suck.

Two of us stopped by this Tasting Room as it was close to another we frequent. The wines are just 'OK' for me; one Reserve Pinot that's good. Lacked descriptiveness in the presentation of wines for sure. Also...Its the dead of winter, raining with no one else in the place & we received 1 glass for 2 people as we only wanted to share a tasting since I was driving. For $30 they couldnt manage to split a tasting in 2 glasses? Completely rude; especially with all the current viruses. I won't bother returning.

This is a beautiful vinery, the owners are very hospitable and friendly. Plenty of seating space. The wine is absolutely delicious. The tasting offers their best selections and they are generous on their tasting pours. I recommend this vinery, it's a must go when in the area.
