Met a friend while visiting Portland. He highly recommended this place and it didn't disappoint! The tempura was delicious! The noodles had spot-on flavor that will make us visit again.

High quality sushi with very nice staff and a cozy atmosphere. Whenever I'm in the area, I make sure I go to Syun.

The raw fish on the bowl and plate could have been better, but overall, this was still the best choice in Hillsboro.

Husband and I were visiting from Salem, in the area to buy a car. Decided last min to eat here and we're happy we did! It's in the basement of a charming building, and the atmosphere was perfect and relaxing. Seems you can enter from two different doors/sides of building. Service was friendly, professional and quick. Food waa delicious. Would definitely go back for a nice date.

Such a fun place! From the outside it looked closed but once we opened the door it was actually super crowded. We were still able to get a table quickly and the vibe was perfect for a fun date night.

Went her for a birthday dinner and it was amazing. Really good food, great hostess, great waiter who was knowledgeable about the menu. Which was good because the menu is big.

Fair pricing and fast service!

I had Anago (Sea Eel), super soft and delicious, the Omagase (Chefs Choice Roll) very delectable, and the Tofu Steak which was served to perfection and the sauce was phenomenal.

For dessert I got deep fried Macha ice cream it was wonderful.

Not sure if the soy sauce is house made but it was phenomenal as well.

This place has gone down the drain, we went there to eat and there were rats running all over the perimeter and by the door. We ate while looking at the rats running around. I can only imagine how their basement could be like or the food storage pantry. Certainly not going back. Sad to see this place going bad!! It was one of our favorites.

Perfect day to sit outside under the trees, and enjoy the view. Our server was amazing! He never let our tea get cold or left us for longer than we wanted. The food was amazing and beautifully prepared.

Wheelchair accessibility: Outside, yes, I'm not sure about inside.

Best Japanese cuisine on the west side, maybe in all of PDX metro.

Too many wonderful menu items to single one out.

The service is excellent, and the establishment is comfortable and welcome. Sit outside in the warmer weather.

This is one of our favorites.
