It was a little strange but I got what I came for. I've been craving LJS's for years. I found this taco bell/ ljs combination place in Hillsboro. Go to the drive thru. I can't order long johns this way, I have to come inside to order it. OK? So luckily I was able to back out and order inside. The long john menu was tiny and off to the side. It seemed like the long johns part of the place was just there for very few old timey fans of the place. I got my long johns AND some taco bell too! It was awesome. But why do i have to go inside to order it??

One of only two LJS in the metro area! What is up with that? In any case the food is great and the people are super nice but if you're getting LJS, you must go inside. Drive thru is only for Taco bell, but they can't seen to manage a sign to warn people??

this location is *literally* more expensive than other taco bell locations in the area. i frequently order the $7 meal box in raleigh hills which, according to even the taco bell website, comes with a chicken chalupa, a beefy 5 layer, chips and cheese, a crunchy taco, and a medium drink. so today i ordered the same thing at this location only to receive the equivalent of a $5 box for $7.50. i thought there had to be some mistake as i just paid $7.50 (plus a dollar since i upgraded the drink to a freeze, okay) for 1 beefy 5 layer, 1 crunchy taco and 1 cinnamon twist, all of which are on the $2 menu as is.. i went back in to let them know there was a mistake and she said “oh yeah i should’ve told you, this location has a $2.50 up charge on the boxes.” yeah, you should have told me for sure. literally a scam.

I'll start by saying the fish was good, and the Baja Blast was great. Now I to the meat (or lack thereof) of the review.
The cantina chicken taco, at $3.49, was an absolute miss. I didn't taste any chicken in my first bite so I went to investigate, and sure enough there was practically scraps of chicken. Very insulting for the price, when you buy a taco anywhere else it will cost less and come with more meat.
The coleslaw as well, tasted ok, but the portion was ridiculous! I swapped fries for 3 bites of old coleslaw? What an experience, you'd think with a Wendy's across the street they'd maintain a certain standard, but it feels more like the people in the back would prefer the place close down.
They also do not honor LJS coupons, which is just another layer of absurd, especially when the next closest location is 20+ miles away.
Avoid this location if you can.

What is the point of this place? FAST FOOD. It's the name of the industry Taco Bell is in. If I can drive to Fred Meyer down the street, grab a meal, checkout myself and get back to work faster than this location, it's not FAST FOOD anymore.
My friend ordered a food here today and the burrito was rotten, they man handled the returned food and refused to do a refund - avoid this place the food and the employees are rotten.
