This small, inconspicuous establishment in a small strip mall with several other eateries is a real gem. Everything we have tried here has been delicious. We enjoy the steamed mandu, which is wonderfully seasoned. The Galbi Tang broth has an umami characteristic, but those glass noodles are a challenge for me. It's a tiny place with just a few people on staff, so take your time when you come here. I am not an expert on Korean food, but the food here feels authentic; I recommend it.

I ordered perilla seed gamjatang and vegetable bibimbap, but they told me in advance that the perilla seed gamjatang was not spicy. The perilla seeds were expensive, but there was a lot of them, so it almost tasted like perilla seed soup, and to my taste, it was more like duck stew that I had in Gwangju rather than gamjatang. I don't know if it's always like this or just today, but it tasted delicious to me. However, I don’t think you should order it thinking of bone hangover soup.Everyone knows that stone pot bibimbap is delicious, but what was surprising was that even though it was vegetable bibimbap, there was meat in it.The side dishes are delicious and I want to try other foods, so I think I'll visit again next time.

Umma’s is a favorite of mine for delicious food made with fresh ingredients. You can really tell each meal is made from scratch with great care. I've tried several items on the menu and always enjoyed the experience. Umma’s serves Banchans (little sides) with the entrees. They are very delicious and you can get refills on any of your choosing.

This place was an amazing experience. Having lived in Korea for 2 years I get strong cravings for authentic Korean food. Out of all of the restaurants I've tried in the beaverton hillsboro portland area, this new comer is moving to the top of my list. I didn't expect to get such amazing korean food 15 minutes outside of the beaverton korean food scene. I'm lucky to live about 5 minutes away. I can't wait to be a regular here

Great place for Korean food. I had some sort of spicy noodles and really liked it. 4 other people in our group and they all loved their food also. Reasonably priced and nice sized portions. Place was busy but service was reasonably fast. I will be returning here when I'm in the mood for Korean food.

Today was my first time trying this establishment with my sibling. And it was one of the most wholesome and warmest experiences we've ever had. The hostess was incredibly welcoming and offered us some tea while we waited for out takeout order. She explained to us that these meals are prepared by her mom, which made the name of the establishment make complete sense. While we waited, the overall space was cozy, and somehow, homey.Once our food was ready to go, the hostess did not hesitate to explain what we had ordered and how to eat certain dishes. She was very sweet and attentive. The food itself, was delicious and tasted like a home cooked meal. We got the following:Bassak Bulgogi - this was very well seasoned, but not overwhelming, and the meat was juicy.Bulgogi Dolsot Bibimbap - also very well seasoned, but what really made this dish sing were the sides that you could pile on to the lettuce wrap - which you build yourself, so you can really customize each bite. Seafood Pajeon - this had a nice mix of green onion and squid to batter ratio, and was just flat out delicious. They also gave us soy sauce that was infused with habanero chiles, which made this a unique version of seafood pajeon.Fried Mandu - just really good fried food. And like the pajeon. The habanero soy sauce truly enhances the flavor. All in all. As a Mexican that is very accustomed to well seasoned, prepared home meals, and just flat out delicious and hearty meals. This was an amazing first time and I can't wait to bring my own mom to Umma
