Service was fast, server was very friendly, my husband and I both had a Moscow Mule which was tasty, and a hummus plate which was just your typical hummus plate. Dog friendly, so it was nice to be able to be in the lounge area by the fireplace with our doggos and relax with a drink. It has a business/laid back vibe to it, but low key, which might be just perfect for business travelers. My husband and I live in the area, so we wanted to go check this place out. Amberglen Park right across the street which is a perfect place to go for a walk, or even with your dogs ❤️ We would go back again.

I stayed at Aloft with a group of colleagues for business. I have health issues and Angela Jay and the rest of the staff took care of my every need ! I would definitely come back with my family for another stay. Room service was daily and the restaurant didn’t close until very late. Great place to unwind after a hectic day!
Rented one of the Exchange Rooms they have for birthdays and wedding anniversary celebration with family and friends. Room, tables, and chairs, were all clean and in very good condition, and with built in sound system and TV that can be used for hosting any program. We were also able to put decorations even before our reserved time since the room was available. Lots of parking spaces. The choices for the catering dinner were all great. We had the Polynesian dinner menu served to our guests. Guests were delighted with the food especially the kalua pork, the beef with ginger sauce, and the rum cake. Best of all is we were able to request from the Chef to have the food to be gluten-free (except for the cake). The Sales Director was easy to work with and was generous with all our special requests. Overall experience was excellent and definitely recommended for hosting any special events.
Our company held a seminar at this location, and our experience was unparalleled. Jay was incredible and made sure we had everything we could possible need. Overall the hotel and staff have an incredibly warm, and welcoming attitude. We are very impressed and glad to have spent time at this property the experience has been like no other.
I had high hopes for this hotel. I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and have yet to find a good hotel in the brand. I do keep trying, though. This hotel only has two things going for it: the people who work there (at least everyone we interacted with) are exceptional and there is complimentary parking (including covered and handicapped parking). James, the employee we interacted with the most, provided excellent customer service with patience and kindness. The location of the hotel is decent as there are a lot of places nearby to eat and shop. Getting to Portland (or Beaverton) is easy and quick. There is a nice view of a park if your room is on the front side of the hotel. In almost every way, the way the hotel is designed and laid out is awkward. It's like whoever designed the place has never stayed in a hotel or understands how people navigate through a hotel when staying there. Who puts the main entrance on the opposite side of the parking? You either have to walk around the building to the front door to enter the lobby or use the phone by the back door to be let into the hotel and go up to the lobby to check-in. Who designs these ADA rooms and believes physically disabled people can actual function easily and safely within them? Do not stay here if you are physically disabled, especially if you use a wheelchair. The accessibility within the rooms is nearly non-existent. As is typical of all hotel rooms that claim to be accessible, they put some bars on the walls and have a roll in shower and consider it all good. It was not all good. I was staying in the hotel because I had doctors appointments. By the end of the stay (4 nights) I was exhausted and in extreme physical pain. We arrived and were sent up to a room on the 2nd floor and the room was full of bags of dirty linens and garbage and was not clean or ready for us. So we went back downstairs and the staff was extremely confused until they said "oh, you booked that a long time ago" (I had called to confirm my arrival the day before) and "that room is not available because we've had a leak." We were eventually sent up to a room on the 4th floor (remember I am in a wheelchair, so if there's a fire, there is no way for me to exit the building and will have to rely on someone helping to get me out of the building). The room is almost impossible to navigate in a wheelchair (especially around the beds). They lowered sections in the closet to be able to hang your coat and other items while sitting in your wheelchair are too low - so anything hung rests on the bottom of the closet floor. There is a huge bowl sink so trying to wash your hands while in wheelchair is awkward and difficult. The beds are uncomfortable and lumpy and the pillows are absurd (so soft and formless) they can barely be called pillows. The lighting for the room is inadequate and requires going by the door to turn the lights on and off (not ideal for someone who is disabled, especially in the middle of the night when going to the bathroom. Our room did not have the bench in the roll in shower, so they put a small bath chair in the shower. If the bench had been in the shower, it is in a position where the hand held shower head is in front of you, while the soap/shampoo/conditioner they provide on the wall is behind you. At least when I showered the water did not run all over the entire bathroom floor. The bars by the toilet are substantial (thankfully) and allowed me to use the toilet safely and without hurting myself. If there is no one coming and going in the hallway or staying in the room above you, the room is quiet. If not, you will hear every sound of people coming and going and every step the person above you takes. The food we got from the restaurant was inedible. It was old and cold and expensive. We didn't eat 95% of it. It went in the garbage. The menu they have on the internet does not exist in the actual hotel. How do you make a grilled cheese sandwich so badly it can't be consumed? Due to the room snafu at our check-in they offered us a free breakfa
First time staying here with my family and I have nothing but good things to say about the hotel and the staff who helped us. Rooms and lobby were tiddy, clean, and well stocked. The general vibe of the hotel was chill and welcoming. Will definitely stay here again. I was able to meat the Angela, Marilyn, and Jay, the managers of the hotel, and all were super friendly. A special shout out to all the front desk staff who were all incredible and helped my family despite being older. Their names were Sarah, Charlotte, James, Meleane, and Cesar, so if you see them, you'll be well taken care of! Hope to be back soon!
We recently traveled with a youth sports group and this was an awesome place for a group to stay! The rooms are great, they have a wonderful fire pit area and a bar! The breakfast bags included were nice too.
I have been coming here for business since 2021 and this has become my go-to hotel for myself and my colleagues. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable. The rooms are very large and the beds are comfortable. Large desk area for working, and the mini Marshall bluetooth speakers are a cool touch for playing your own music. The onsite gym is great for getting a workout in, with dumbells up to 50 lbs, a cable machine, and cardio equipment. Great lobby area for hanging out or collaborating with colleagues. Also, the hotel is a quick walk to Insomnia Coffee which is a great spot for coffee, breakfast, or just to hang out. On my latest trip, I used the business meeting rooms. The room were great with good modern equipment (TV/monitor with integrated speaker). Jay helped us book the room at the last minute. He was fantastic to work with and was a super friendly host. Thank you!
I didn't stay here, I just organized for a large corporate event to stay - and with the stress and back and forth of many individuals canceling and adding and subtracting days weekly for months leading up, I had the BEST customer service experience with Jay. He was quick to respond and very helpful and friendly. Our hotel-goers had no complaints themselves, either!

Jay and his team are fantastic. Shout out to Cesar for going above and beyond and his kindness. I feel safe here and at home. I travel with two service dogs and they are accommodating and understanding.
This was a great hotel in a great location. Never stayed at an Aloft Hotel before and we were very impressed. Room was large with two king sized beds. Hillsboro is a great location outside Portland with lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. Hotel has a food area for carry out but prices seemed high. Also a bar that offered small plates but had limited hours so it was nice to have so many restaurant options in the area. This Aloft was in a great neighborhood, very clean and front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Beds and pillows were the best! Only downside was the bathroom area. Toilet and shower were in a separate room with no separate light; you had to turn the one switch that lit the vanity area and shower/toilet area. The vanity had round raised sink which is awful in my opinion but seems to be the trend in décor these days.
A large group of our family was in town for my son's wedding. As mother of the groom, I needed space to comfortably get ready. Jay made it easy. He was beyond helpful, caring, and attentive to my/our needs. If he was unable to fulfill our original requests, he made up for it by offering something even better. Jay definitely put the finishing touches on our weekend to make it perfect and followed up with us at the end of our stay to be sure everything went well over the weekend. You'll find the staff helpful and pleasant. Late nights on the patio with an attentive bartender was a nice way to wind down our evenings. Jay's rooms are clean and EXTREMELY comfortable. The air conditioning was great with a wall control rather than unit control. Our rooms were perfect temperature during a very hot weekend in Portland. Everything you need is provided for enjoying the large walk in showers. Food from the bar was very good. Loved the hummus platter! For breakfast, they have everything you need to grab a quick bite on your way out the door. Other comments complain of the prices of the breakfast items. Honestly the prices are not bad. The breakfast is there for convenience and convenience costs a little more no matter where you are. The property offers free parking with some available garage parking that is also free. There is a beautiful park across the street as well. I would highly recommend choosing Aloft as your next stay in the Beaverton Hillsboro area. I know I'll be back! Thank you to Jay and all his staff. You have a wonderful hotel!
I'm a little surprised by all of the high praising reviews of this property, but I was underwlemed. The location is in a pleasant suburban area with a park across the street and parking is free. Although the hotel is clearly getting a little old it's still in decent shape and our two king room was a good size. I liked the special touch of a Marshall Bluetooth speaker in the room and the toiletries were nice. Unlike other Alofts, the shower and toilet were in a seperate room (at some Alofts the shower is open to the room). That being said, turning the bathroom light turns on half the lighting in the room so showering or using the bathroom at night will likely wake up your family. The bad: Check in is confusing. You can't access the lobby from the parking lot without a key card and none of this is obvious. We're Platinum Elite and are suppose to get upgrades when available. We knew the bathroom lightning would be an issue from previous Aloft stays (my wife is a light sleeper and I like to get up early). At 9:30pm while driving there my wife saw they still had a suite available and messaged to request it. They said they were sold out but my wife clarified that it was showing as available in the app, they then said it wasn't available due to maintenance issues. Right before going to bed at 11:30 I checked it again and it still showed as available. You think they would have at least removed it from their site it after we messaged them (unless it really was available?). The guy who checked us in didn't mention our elite status or seem particularly welcoming (maybe he was annoyed by our messaging about the suite!). Usually Platinum members get free breakfast at Aloft properties but they do it by a credit of $10 per person here up to two people. Well breakfast was way worse than other Alofts! No espresso drinks or the signature Oatley cold brews Aloft is known for. They do breakfast sandwiches but prices were much higher than other Aloft propeties. Prices were comically high! $8 for a Starbucks canned coffee, $5 for a Costco looking stale wrapped croissant etc. I know I'm sounding a little whiney and if you're not fussy then the room was fine and the location is nice. If you're a Marriot elite member, however, who's used to nice properties and good service then choose somewhere else.
Jay and his staff were amazing. Great hospitality for our business trip. The nightlife the bar in the atmosphere were spot on. We couldn’t have picked a better place for all of our guest. We will definitely be back.
