Went in for lunch in late march, they have a great view of the river, the service is excellent, and the food is just outstanding. Highly recommended if you’re in

Met a friend there for lunch at 11:30 on a Tuesday and we were the only ones there. By the time we left the dining room was full. My friend had trout and I kept it simple with a hamburger with very crispy, delicious fries. The view of the Columbia River was enhanced by a rainbow.

My family and I recently visited this restaurant on a Thursday night. While the culinary experience had its highlights, the overall visit left me with mixed feelings.Let's start with the positives – the cocktails were packed a punch. The environment was pristine, and the hillside views were absolutely breathtaking. However, the dining experience took a hit due to the slow service. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, it took a good 15 minutes to be seated (no one in sight as we entered), and another 15-20 minutes before we could even place our drink order. This delay became a concern, especially since we had an event to attend, and we had communicated this to the waitress. It seemed that only after highlighting our time constraints did the pace of service pick up, but still slow for how empty the restaurant was. While the environment was clean and the ambiance enjoyable, the pricing of the food left me a bit disappointed. The menu did offer higher-end options, suggesting a premium experience, but the overall quality of the dishes did not quite match the elevated prices. The food was good, but did not leave a lasting impression that justified the cost.In essence, this restaurant appears to thrive more on its stunning views than the food itself. If you're willing to pay a premium for a beautiful setting and decent food, this might be the place for you. However, we were looking for remarkable quality and tasting food which we did not receive.

Everything was great here, especially the chocolate - peanut butter cake for dessert! (We also enjoyed the hazelnut crusted fried chicken and the trout almandine.)

We had a very nice meal here. The name suggests something a little less formal so we felt a little underdressed, but Hood River is forgiving that way.

Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, food presentation, and well priced. One of the best restaurants in Hood River. Great for special occasions during all seasons.

There was very little veggies in the salad and we couldn't taste the herb dressing so we asked for dressing on the side (it was tasteless). The crab and shrimp cakes had lots of breading and very little crab or shrimp. I couldn't taste the crab or shrimp at all.

Visited 3 rivers grill recently and was thoroughly impressed by the taste and healthiness of the food. They clearly prioritize high-quality ingredients, and it shows in every bite. While I appreciate the premium dining experience, I do feel the prices are on the higher side. We tried Beef Tenderloin Medallions and Shrimp and also Hazelnut Crusted Fried Chicken and they were good. A great spot for special occasions or if you’re looking to indulge in top-tier cuisine.

We went here for our 21st wedding anniversary 2 weeks ago and the bad experience is still scarring. Wow, what a disappointment. One star is for the view. Applebee's style food. Every entree comes with the same starch and veg. Indication of a lazy untalented chef. Service from Jerry was robotic and uncaring. The elderly hostess almost ran us over when walking in with no apology. No organization, no floor map, no computer at hostess stand. No smiles from any staff. Mocktails we're terrible. Tasted like watered down oj with a salt rim. When we made our reservation we mentioned it was our anniversary, this was not mentioned during our experience. We also requested to sit inside and we were seated outside. We will not return under current ownership. There are so many better dining options in Hood River. This is not fine dining. No passion, no energy.Do not recommend. Terrible.
