“The food was top notch and the staff very knowledgeable and helpful in providing recommendations. We came without a reservation and were sat at the bar within twenty minutes or so but I’d recommend getting a reservation in advance.”

“You usually don’t go into a brewery in an emotional crying state. We were on vacation Saturday and shortly before entering Pfriem I got some hard news to take in about my family. It was a lot to process and I decided I just needed to push on with the evening and try to process it later. Zach picked up on my emotions immediately, hard not to, but he treated my husband and I with so much empathy, and love honestly. He assisted us that evening, and really treated us with compassion. It was so touching to be cared for in the situation I was in and the place I was. Obviously incredible beer, but Zach is who I would hope would be our server in good times and bad. “We stopped at this vineyard on a tour from Portland to mt.hood and it was easily one of our favorites! Their lunch options were so good… charcuterie boards and different sandwiches. They had great views and alpacas in the field in the back!They accomadated our larger tour group so we could all sit together and chat which o thought was a very nice touch rather than us spreading out in our smaller groups.”

“On a whim, I made reservations to enjoy Votum's tasting menu to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were really blown away by the level of service, the attention to detail, and the clear passion they have for fine dining and food artistry. It's definitely a special occasion kind of place, but they REALLY did make the occasion feel special - complete with customized printed menus, delicious and creative food, and Michelin star-level service and presentation. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces! Thank you for a lovely evening. We'd gladly come back for another special occasion in the future.”

“We had 6 pizzas for our family Christmas. I have celiac, so 1 pizza was gluten-free. Lori assured me she was familiar with how to prepare my pizza. Well, the family loved the pizzas, and mine was fantastic, and I did not have any reaction. “Mellow vibes and good wine. We ended up taking home two bottles. The small charcuterie plate was a great pairing with the wine. Staff was very knowledgeable of the wines, vineyards, and area. We were also lucky enough to enjoy live music on a Thursday afternoon.”

“Boda's Kitchen is a must visit spot in Hood River! The food is outstanding and the people who prepare it are even better. Boda's offers an excellent selection of fresh, local food made in house daily. In addition to the daily soups, sandwiches, salads, wraps, rotisserie chicken and desserts they also offer a great selection of frozen items for those days when you just don't feel like cooking or you're hosting dinner guests. Did I mention the cheese and wine?! So many lovely options to choose from! Boda herself curates the wine and cheese selections in the shop. Have a special event? Boda's also caters! I cannot recommend this place enough. It's SO GOOD!”

“We had two wonderful dinners here two nights in a row. The service was impeccable, the Italian music delightful and the food was scrumptious. I'm confused by some of the reviews being negative. We had the absolute best experience. The owner was talkative and we learned a lot about Bulgaria, Greece and Italy and their food and wine. Polenta, risotto, wines and cocktails were delicious. The deserts were made onsite which is such a treat. Everything was fresh and delicious.”

“Stopped by back in Summer of 2018. This visit was an upgrade from my past visit. They offer a wonderful selection of charcuterie and food options to enjoy with wine. The view and decor is beautiful. Parking was convenient. We have a Tesla and were able to use their charger while we visited. Since it was winter, there was snow everywhere and the place was warm and cozy. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We did not have a reservation and they were able to seat us right away since we arrived at opening time. I would recommend reservations during peak times of year. Restrooms were clean and roomy compared to other wineries where you have to wait to use the restroom. Overall it was a wonderful experience and a gorgeous winery. I will definitely return again when I get back to the Hood River area.”

“If you're in Hood River and looking for a good place to grab Happy Hour or just to get a good dinner and some drinks then check Divots out. Being in the Portland area and always looking for some good Haopy Hour menus I have seen many good and not so good ones and Divots has a GOOD ONE! Good food options and prices are a decent value. Reference the two menu pics I added in December 2023 on their photos here. I had the burger and it really hit the spot. Good selection of beer, wine and cocktails too.”

“This is a childhood favorite. I grew up going to this Pietros with my family and now I take my little family. Recently, now that I noticed they are better staffed - the quality has been great. There was a period where it was a hit or miss, but now it’s back to being consistently delicious. Customer service is better; friendly & quick. There are less out of order games & there are workers quick to help at the prize booth. Great job Hood River!”

“The smoked salmon sliders are very delicious! A nice light lunch with a glass of their moscato was just perfect. The sliders had a spice to them & the moscato was not too sweet. The lounge and dining space are serene, beautifully decorated with timeless art and music, and offer wonderful views of nature and the river. I would recommend lunch here!”
