“We came in, not knowing it was closing time (2:00 pm) they were welcoming and didn't say "It's almost closing but promptly served us. Loved the home town feel. Patriotic and God loving folks.”
“We have toured/tasted at wineries all around the world & Synchline was definitely our fave experience! A true hidden treasure, and a peaceful, beautiful garden environment. The staff was wonderful, from the cheerful greeting by Lauren, followed by, Randi, our knowledgeable tasting server. Cody made sure we were treated well & had an enjoyable experience. The Picpoul was our fave white, don't miss this one.”
“Outstanding, just outstanding!! All ice cream is not the same. The ice cream at Shannon's is amazing and most of it is handmade by Shannon and her staff (these are your best options IMO).I got the crepe this time and I'm telling you it was out of this world!! Stuffed with whatever you want on the inside with ice cream on top. Mine had almond pistachio topping it which was truly one of the best ice creams I've had! Oh my, what a treat that was! They have plenty of amazing non-dairy options and lots of other tasty treats as well.Shannon and her staff are wonderful hosts and you will undoubtedly have a great time here. I highly recommend this if you like premium awesome ice cream! Thanks Shannon!!”
“House roasted coffees. Tasty coffees; okay breakfast items and pastries.Small and intimate coffee shop conveniently located.Attentive to children. Poco is a handsome lab with impeccable manors.”
“This is the best restaurant in The Dalles. The Lamb Vindaloo and Tikka Masala are devine. Perfectly spiced. They have lots of vegetarian and GF options too. Plus it's run by a courteous and friendly family. It's great for a special night out.”
“This is in my humble opinion, the best Indian food along the Columbia river. Even up to the headwaters. It's got a very rangy menu and I would've given it five stars but they just raised the price out of my regular customer income bracket. But you do get what you pay for.”
“Small, intimate family run winery with wonderful and affordable wines. Julie was attentive, knowledgeable, friendly but never intrusive. Located right on 2nd Street in The Dalles, it's a great place to stop if you're wandering the various tasting rooms and bare pubs in the area. Since it was my first time here, I did the flight. The first wine, the Locomotive, had me with the very light taste with hints of honey and papaya. Not one to typically drink whites, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. On a warm or even hot day, this would be perfect. As I made my way through the tasting, I found that I was enjoying several of their wines. The High Tension, their club favorite, was a full bodied blend of Syrah, Merlot and Barbera. A perfect everyday drinking wine And good for parties where you need a wine that pleases many palettes. The other standout for me was the Barbera. Very smooth, full body and slightly jammy. Since I'm in a Barbera club at Cascade Cliffs, I left with the Locomotive. I'm looking forward to a warm spring day to sit in my deck and enjoy with friends. The tasting room inside is small and simple. A picnic tables and seats out in the paved area out front, nice on a sunny day. I'll definitely be back.”
“We found this food truck on one of our Idaho to Oregon (and back) travels, now we stop every single time!! Probably the best find EVER!! Amazing tacos, the Sopes are some of the best I’ve ever had, Birria and pastor are my favorites, but it’s all SO GOOD!!! If I could rate this place more than 5 stars, I would!!”
“Defiantely best in TD! My all time favorite is the tacos, salsa Verde and Super burrito. I've never had a better burrito before ANYWHERE. the service is always so friendly and love that it's a family together. Always a great stop, even has outdoor seating.”
“My first time stopping in so they gave me a free loaf of fresh bread of my choice! Nice. I selected a rustic hard crust whole wheat from Portland Bakery. Thanks! While they clearly have a lot of bread items - English muffins, white bread, whole wheat bread, sourdough boule, hamburger and hot dog buns, specialty breads like cinnamon and apple crisp - they also have several varieties of muffins, breakfast bars, and cookies. Even Little Debbie treats, Moon Pies and Pizzelle cookies. Jams and jellies, too! Crackers, honey, bottled juice - so much!Prices vary depending on whether it's fresh bread or a few days old. The fresh bread is about $1 or 50 cents less than grocery store. The day old is half price or more. I picked up a pack of sourdough English muffins for $1.50. For large families that consume a lot of bread and bread products, it's worth a stop. They even have loyalty punch cards. And for those in need, they donate bread that is close to expiration date. Very friendly staff. Huge parking lot. Convenient location.”
“I love this place. I come here with my kids and we never get tired of it. They have great service, 24-36 flavors, endless toppings, the BEST coffee (no joke), and yummy lunch! I've also enjoyed coming here to study, work, and read while enjoying some coffee and food. The kids also love the arcade, foosball, coloring, and board games. They really have it all! So happy to have this family outing available :)”
“Absolutely delicious even got a second meal to go. Great Customer service definitely recommend this place we had the rice, macaroni salad and barbecued pulled pork wish we had a place like this in Gresham market yummy yummy ”
“My wife had the salmon hash breakfast while I had the corned beef hash breakfast. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The raspberry jam for our toast and croissant was some of the best I've ever had. Can't wait to come back and try the French toast and Crepes.”
“We had a business trip in Boardman and needed some dinner. We pulled in literally 7:50 pm not realizing they closed at 8. They took our order and invited us to stay as long as we wanted. We got the pizza in a to go box so we could just go quick when needed. We saw the look on a few employees faces when we sat to eat and they were tired and although wore a smile we knew they were done for the evening. We enjoyed what was probably tone of the pizzas I have ever had while driving down the highway. We will definitely stop again as my husband will be traveling here for work more often. I appreciated the personalities and the atmosphere just seemed to be a great place to be. Absolutely will be back for the pie alone!Kid-friendliness: They accepted us even though they were closing within 10 minutes! Loved the employees and the pizza pie”
“Really nice little place the service was so nice. They were friendly and super fast as well. I love the cozy feel and music choice. The food was so good and not over priced like most places are now a ”
“Amazing owners, super kind. They treat you like family when you go there often they get to know you which I like. Also the food is AMAZING and they give you so much!!! My son and I share one plate all the time and still have leftovers. ?”
“We enjoyed this place good wine with extras. They have blankets to sit in the grass if you don't want a table along with sun screen to use wile hanging out. they also have you pick cherries that is super fun”
“I absolutely love this place I think it has everything that could easily make it a five star review. I plan on going back and trying the rest of the menu and updating my review after that. Delicious food friendly service and a nice vibe. Check them out.”
“If you're like me, nothing beats a great steak, but a great steak is few & far between. The ambiance of this place is nothing to write home about, but the food is awesome. The steaks are always perfectly cooked, the service is great, and the drive to-and-from really seals the deal. Not kidding, I once drove over 100 miles to come here on a whim with some friends. No regrets.”
“Great food, service and atmosphere! The owner was incredibly personable. This was a complete surprise (in a really good way). I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!”
“This is a nice small town restaurant that offers great food, nice service, and a fun environment.Mosier Company (or Mo Co as they have seemingly nicknamed themselves) is a great stop if you’re in the area or driving through.I tried their tater tots, pretzel, and pizza while there. The pretzel was great! The pizza was good. And the tots were just fine. I didn’t have any complaints and I’m sure I’ll be back. The service was a standout! My mom - who appears to be a regular - is on a first name basis with the staff and they all treated us very well. The food was quick enough and it came out with a smile. The ambiance is one of Mo CO’s biggest positives. When it isn’t 40 degrees outside they have a very nice patio area that usually has a fire going. Inside they have a stylish bar and plenty of family seating as well. They even have some merchandise to look over while you wait for a table!Overall Mo Co is a great spot to stop at if you’re rolling down 84 in either direction.”
“Amazingly delicious homemade bakery run by a super nice family type crew. I got the savory ham and cheese with jalapeño and it was perfectly balanced with meat and I swear 2 types of cheese in a buttery flaky crust ?”
“We stopped here on our drive from Seattle to the Goldendale observatory. From the online photos, it reminded us of our favorite local drive-in. We were wrong. It was way better! This is our new favorite burger joint (unfortunately, a 4 hour drive from home)!I had the Jim Dandy with fries and a peanut butter cup milkshake. My husband had a double deluxe bacon cheeseburger. His comment was on how good it was because it had REAL cheese! He also had fries and a cookies and cream milkshake. We both loved that they used real ice cream! Highly recommend.”
“I came here after a long run on the Deschutes River trail, and the food exceeded expectations!! Got one of the specials and a chocolate porter which was also so good. Highly recommend!”
“Tacos Del Rio is the best tacos since I left Texas. I stop in every time I cross the country. The meat was perfectly cooked and flavorful. The rice, amazing. Staff was quick and friendly and the place was incredibly clean. Absolutely a recommendation to eat there, just go easy on the red hot sauce. I grew up eating really hot peppers, and this stuff was perfectly flavorful and blissfully spicy. Kinda like dating a redhead.”
“AMAZING food & service. Sara was the BEST waitress. Will DEFINITELY be going back soon. Think it is my new FAVORITE restaurant. If I could give it 10 stars I would.”
“Amazing brirria tried yesterday for 1st time and we are hooked. Favorite truck in the dalles. Definitely be back for more. The beans melted like cream delicious and the rice was perfect spiced.”
“Had an issue that could happen anywhere, the girls were so kind and quick to resolve it. They went above and beyond. The blended caramel mocha was delicious. Thanks again ladies!”
“We ducked in to the Wine Library for a late evening glass of wine - and couldn't have enjoyed more! We love their focus on local wines and found their tasting room manager, Ben Kupchin, to be knowledgeable and darn delightful. Highly recommend!”
“I am really loving to explore this are of Washington. Cor cellars has become a must stop for me. I love the architecture. Modern and elegant. The staff is friendly. They play good music. The wine is also delicious. I usually get the cheese and crackers as well”
