“The breakfast sandwiches are delicious. I would rather eat a baguette from here, butter and jam than a donut from anywhere else! I could eat here every day. Love sitting on the patio.”

“Stopped for coffee and a burrito bowl yesterday…spectacular. Unfortunately we did not have the chance to see Mt Hood due to cloudy conditions today. Highly recommended.”

“The bar tender (Jen) was great and fed me drinks all night and tolerated my intoxicated behind! Bonus points for a killer playlist! 10/5 for sure!”

“Nachos were good and plenty for 2. They sell lots of beer and limited wine. No hard liquor. Views of mountain posted by previous persons were not realistic. They told us maybe in winter without leaves on trees. Good atmosphere inside and out. Good service and friendly staff.”

“Whatever you get, make sure you use their hot sauce. The hot sauce that they bring you in a squeeze bottle when they bring your food is one of the best things I've ever tasted in a Mexican restaurant. They can't even leave it at the tables anymore because people stole it. The guacamole and homemade chips is outstanding and I must if you have a table of three or more. I actually prefer the basic tacos over most of the fancy wax. I was not a fan of the Americano, Taco or whatever it was called. The fish taco was great but to be honest it was too much fish. The carnitas, the mushroom taco, and the blackened chicken are all outstanding. The dip that they make out of pumpkin seed is also really good. Overall, it's a super fun menu that has lots of fun and interesting dishes that you won't find in your typical taqueria or Mexican restaurant.”

“I was treated with great customer service. The food was delicious. However, if you say a sandwich comes with a side of chips.. I think most people would assume the amount in a small bag of chips. Not 4 chips total. C'mon.”

“Really nice, authentic Japanese Ramen shop. Ramen is on the spicier side so ensure you order to your taste preference. Rich and flavorful broth. The Calamari was also delcious. Great spot, don't skip it.”

“Pine Street Bakery ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 9/15/22, I stopped in Hood River, Oregon to check out Pine Street Bakery. Owner Megan Davis’s mother started Grand Central Bakery in Seattle, Washington in 1972. Today, there are 11 locations between Portland and Seattle. If you ever have an opportunity to visit a Grand Central Bakery/Café, I recommend it. I wanted to try one of their famous Cardamom Knots, which are Challah dough slathered in Vanilla Butter, covered in Cardamom Sugar and tied in a Knot. Unfortunately, they were out. I got a Carrot Cake cupcake ($5), which is one of their best sellers, as well as a Maddie Cake cupcake ($5). The Maddie Cake cupcake is a seasonal cupcake that changes with some regularity. The current Maddie Cake cupcake is Peaches & Cream. It is Vanilla cake filled with Peach compote made from local peaches, topped with a Vanilla Swiss Meringue Butter cream frosting. I enjoyed both cupcakes but my favorite of the two was the Maddie Cupcake because it was so unique. There was a generous amount of peach compote in the center of the cupcake, as well as on top. The compote had great flavor. Both cupcakes were fairly dense but moist. In addition to the baked goods and breads, Pine Street Bakery has Breakfast, Lunch, and Coffee menus, as well as specials. They also sell a lot of other products and fresh flowers. Highly Recommended!!!”

“We were so fortunate to find this unique Cafe with one of the most eclectic and carefully curated menus. The tacos, enchiladas and quesedillas were just the right portions and we could taste the freshness of their ingredients. The crush puppies were a star as were the cider flights. What stuck with us though was how friendly, personable and genuinely kind the staff was. They made it an incredible experience. It was the most grounded and relaxing eating experience we could have imagined. Keep shining and we will certainly be back when we can!”

“I absolutely love this restaurant. My girlfriend just visited Hood River for the second time and this trip we made our reservation at Votum before we even booked our lodging. The first time we dined at Votum was in December where we celebrated our Christmas away from our families together. We had the chefs tasing on Friday, came back from a few items on Saturday, and then for brunch on Sunday it was so good. This trip we had another wonderful meal on Saturday night and then came back for the caviar service and risotto on Sunday. You must get the Caviar service if you go. The warm buckwheat blimi is the perfect combination and worth every penny. Nathan is an incredible host and does an amazing job with the wine pairings. This restaurant is truly a must have if you are ever in Hood River and it would even be worth the drive from Portland for just this meal.”

“It’s hard for me to believe that their rating is only 4.9 stars. I’ve been a customer since they opened and everything they make is superb. They continue to expand their offerings and they just built an eating space complete with beautiful flowers which compliments their very special store. Highly recommend Edeske!”
“Nice spot. Parking can run hot and cold. Excellent shop, well taken care of. Slim on staffing, adequate to the task. Fewer food offerings than some other places, but nothing to knock them on. It was all excellent. Family friendly. Plenty of 4 tops can easily be 6, or taller tables for couples.”

“On our way back to Pendleton from Portland, we stopped to charge our car. Then walked over to Solstice Wood Fire Pizza for dinner. We decided to order the BLBB pizza, a hot Kenyan Grey tea, and a huckleberry organic lemonade. Our server Brad N did an awesome job making our dining experience a real treat.”

“Loved our time here. We ordered the burrata with beets and it was fantastic — fresh, balanced, and plated beautifully. Huge wine selection with lots of by-the-glass options. It’s clearly one of the most popular spots in White Salmon and it gets busy fast, so reservations are recommended. Great service, great wine, great food. We’ll be back.”
