Visited during the ruse takeover. The food was amazing. The brisket melt and pork sandwich were great. Had the slaw which was very unique and quite good. Only thing that missed for me was the bbq sauce, straight ketchup. But the food is so good you don’t need it
Good food and glad I went. Would certainly have again, though I have a few suggestions. I got there at 1130 (opening) and the line was very long already. But, it moved very slow. Took an hour to get up to my order. When I was there they had a football game on a tablet and actually were stopping to watch the game while people were waiting. If I had a line that long, I wouldn't be watching a game. Also, I was excited to try the hominy side dish and ordered it. I got everything to-go...read full review

I would go as far to say, this is the best bbq spot in the gorge. They nail it every single time, and everything is just delicious. I send my SO early to get in line and bring home a tray for us to share! We love bbq and in the past have gone out of town for it, now we don’t have to travel far. Must try!
