I would go as far to say, this is the best bbq spot in the gorge. They nail it every single time, and everything is just delicious. I send my SO early to get in line and bring home a tray for us to share! We love bbq and in the past have gone out of town for it, now we don’t have to travel far. Must try!

Visited during the ruse takeover. The food was amazing. The brisket melt and pork sandwich were great. Had the slaw which was very unique and quite good. Only thing that missed for me was the bbq sauce, straight ketchup. But the food is so good you don’t need it

Drove to there location in hood river from Vancouver because of the recommendations of friends whom have eaten from the establishment. Unfortunately, contrary to the business hours posted on line they are apparently not open on Sundays. Guess I'll drive back to Vancouver and eat at the BBQ place 3 minutes from my house. Very disappointing!!!!

Good food and glad I went. Would certainly have again, though I have a few suggestions. I got there at 1130 (opening) and the line was very long already. But, it moved very slow. Took an hour to get up to my order. When I was there they had a football game on a tablet and actually were stopping to watch the game while people were waiting. If I had a line that long, I wouldn't be watching a game. Also, I was excited to try the hominy side dish and ordered it. I got everything to-go and didn't check the order. Unfortunately the hominy wasn't in there. Overall, great food and glad I tried it. Just need to tighten things up a little.

Brisket was bomb! Tex slaw was different, not bad, just not my thing. The line was SUPER long, 35 minutes long! Other than that, LOVED the texan's bbq!Parking: Try not to drag your trailer down there, it'll be a headache...

For my group and I, we decided on a half pound of bbq pork, half pound of brisket and two Mac and cheese sides.All of the food was delicious! I really enjoyed the pork the most but the breadcrumb crunch on the Mac and cheese was also yummy.It was a hot weekend to be out in the sunshine in line for Grasslands, but there are a few picnic tables nearby in the shade if you’re lucky enough to grab one of them.If I could change one thing about this experience, I wish Grasslands provided customers with a pager so that they can cool off in the shade or walk around to get a drink at the brewery and they’ll know their food is ready when their pager would go off instead of needing to stay close by for their name to be called. I noticed that their food truck neighbors provided the customers with pagers but Gradslands did not.

Best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had in my life!!!! So amazing!!Pork belly burnt ends, tri tip and Mac and cheese were all great!!Cherry limeade slushy was VERY lime forward, but so good and refreshing when it’s over 90 degrees outside.
