Ok if you like ice cream then this place is the way to go. The ice cream is fantastic here. Best in Hood River! I will miss it very much now that we don't have a vacation home here in Hood River anymore. If I happen to be in the area visiting I will definitely stop by here.
This place is adorable--it has a great vintage, rambling vibe. There's a teeny-tiny garden, crammed full of chairs of all sizes, perfect for chilling on a hot day. Our kiddo loved the garden; we had to go twice over our short trip to Hood River. In terms of the ice cream itself, none of the flavors we tried were particularly amazing, but we didn't mind. The vibe (and proximity to another Hood River favorite--The Children's Park) made Mike's Playground perfect for us.

This is a great local spot that has great ice cream, especially ice cream sundaes if you're into that type of thing and I had to get a Neapolitan one that's perfect for the spring or summertime weather. They have a great little selection.
