I'm a professional state tour guide, and you won't find a more authentic Oregon breakfast-lunch-dessert diner than Bette's Place. Tucked atop Hood River's adorable main street, Bette's is a snapshot of Americana in motion. The menu is melting pot of our state's history made with a grandmother's love, always with fresh local ingredients. Ask a local and they'll agree, Bette's Place is great place to be.
Excellent! We got the mountain omlet (side of biscuits and a pancake) with extra sausage gravy and the salmon and brie scramble (side of biscuits). Food came out quickly, everything was hot and fresh. Some of the best biscuits we have had.Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and hardworking. Every team member we could see was working hard and had great attitudes.The place itself is clean and comfortable!

Oh my goodness, so glad we discovered Bette's! We're on a 12 hour road trip from Portland to SLC and needed breakfast on our way out. We called ahead and ordered the Salmon Bagel, Huevos Rancheros, and Huevos con Tortillas for take out on the drive. Everything was fresh and delicious! My 8yo daughter says this is the best Huevos Rancheros and side of fruit she's had in her life and insisted I leave a review. :) We're all feeling great and ready to take on the rest of this road...read full review
