“This is a old school hidden gem. Proudly family run and lots of great influences from the beer list to the food on the menu to the portions. From the ample pour of rose and my lovely large Polish beer we knew we were in for something fun. We both had steak specials, with sides, the salads were fresh and tasty. The platters came out with our steaks cooked perfectly, great loaded potatoes and the steamed veggies were real veggies not heated up frozen veggies. The steaks were delicious. Good meat, seasoned just enough and cooked well. Everything came out hot and we dug in. We were offered sauces and things but honestly it didn't need anything. The wine list was about what you would expect for a small place, but there was a nice representation of smaller local producers considering the list was maybe 8-10 wines total. They had a full bar as well, we saw a table order cocktails, again good pours, and the lady's lobster tail looked incredible. This was such a fun night we will be back again and soon!“
“We had 6 pizzas for our family Christmas. I have celiac, so 1 pizza was gluten-free. Lori assured me she was familiar with how to prepare my pizza. Well, the family loved the pizzas, and mine was fantastic, and I did not have any reaction. Thank you, Saw Tooth Roadhouse, for making a perfect meal for a perfect day.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free“
“It's was a cold November day. After a hike to Multnomah Falls my hubby and I drove the 30 mins to pFriem. Ordered a flight of 6 tastings and fries so we can decide what to take home to Cali. Service was great, fries had an amazing aioli sauce. Picked only 2 of the 6 to purchase but wanted more. If you are in Hood River stop by!“
“I'm a professional state tour guide, and you won't find a more authentic Oregon breakfast-lunch-dessert diner than Bette's Place. Tucked atop Hood River's adorable main street, Bette's is a snapshot of Americana in motion. The menu is melting pot of our state's history made with a grandmother's love, always with fresh local ingredients. Ask a local and they'll agree, Bette's Place is great place to be.“
“Great food to complement the beers. Wish we had time to go on the brewery tour. Salmon fish and chips was very good and quite a portion of excellent fries. The beer Mac and cheese was great as well. Can't wait to try other items next time.“
“What a gem! We went here for our anniversary and had such a wonderful experience. We’re both foodies and wanted something special, this place certainly delivered. Nathan was awesome and paired wine with our dishes perfectly. The food was spectacular and had wonderful diversity of flavor and preparation. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a special night with amazing cuisine.“
“Very nice hotel! It sits right on the Columbia River. The coolest part is they allow you to park your boat on their dock for free if you stay at the hotel!!! Plus they have a great bar and restaurant and the staff are awesome! A must stay……“
“I love this place. I am a fan of delicious cocktails and this place has tons of tasty ones. I also enjoyed the poki nachos. Great atmosphere and wonderful staff. Don’t miss Happy Hour. I loved the Bitter Rascal which is the drink in the solo shot. We also enjoyed the Aztec Ruins and the Hibiscus Margarita. Wow my favorite drinks in Hood River“
“Really awesome spot for breakfast. Dog friendly inside and out. The caramelized onion omelette was a winner - the chilaquiles were a little over salted/not quite it, but the great coffee, otherwise excellent food and service made up for it with room to spare.“
“I love supporting local businesses! This place is awesome! The customer service is one of the best in town! Their food is very awesome! I love that if I want to call and place a takeout order, they actually answer the phone. And, my takeout orders are always exactly what I ordered. A side note, this was the last takeout place we ordered for my brother before he passed away from cancer recently. He loved their clam chowder as much as I do! So I will always order clam chowder because it is so good! Their fries are awesome too! Their burgers are very tasty too! Come support them!“
“So many different choices of food from regular American to some popular Mexican dishes and multiple veggie plates as well. Very nice staff, good service and food came out very fast. Hashbrowns could of been more crispy but the house potatoes were great.“
“Cute place & we were instantly drawn to their logo when walking by. We wanted sushi but my friend also wanted sweet potato fries & awesome to find a place that actually has both! I got the edamame & Kobe roll. It was delish! Perfect size bites & favorful & they didn't skimp on the sauce or the size of the fish on top. My friend got the maki roll & previously mentioned fries. She thoroughly enjoyed hers as well. Incredibly attentive service & all of the employees were kind & friendly. I would definitely go back (I saw some burgers & poke bowls being brought to other tables that looked amazing as well).“
“Ferment is a fantastic brew pub located in Hood River! The outdoor seating area is the highlight, offering a cozy vibe and fantastic views. The beer is great and the food is pretty tasty! We shared a giant pretzel that was delicious, served with wasabi mustard and a whipped brown butter.Sometimes they have a window open where you can order drinks. This time around, the window was closed and we needed to head inside to order. If you do not sit inside and choose your own seat, you will need to order at the counter. You will also need to bus your own tables. Can’t wait to go back!Parking: Parking can get a little hairy, especially on nice sunny days“
“We had a group of 15 people for lunch, last week, and had the best service from our waiter, Stephen. We really put him through the test and he came through with flying colors. Our food was delicious and the desserts were over the top. Our group said it was the best lunch our club had. Kudos to Stephen and the restaurant.“
“The facilities have a somewhat run down look although this seems to be the vibe they are going for. Kind of that hole in the wall with great food feel. Everything was clean and kept up though. The food, appropriately enough, was quite good. My burger (their Trillium burger), cooked just right (medium) as requested was excellent. Juicy patty, soft bun, crisp bacon, and fresh fixings. Tater tots were crispy and well seasoned. They were somewhat busy for a late Sunday morning but service was still prompt and friendly. I intend on coming back when a craving for a good burger strikes.“
“I love eating at 3 Rivers when I'm in Hood River. The food is always delicious and the drinks, oh gosh the drinks! This last visit the service left alot to be desired, but every other time it's been great, friendly and attentive.“
“The people are friendly you can smoke they had I mean they have a back area where you can smoke if you smoke and you can take your drinks back it's outside but it's right there in the bar actually kind of inside outside I would rather go there than just about anywhere else just kick back but it can't get rocking at times and you got lottery good food lots of liquor that I don't drink anymore. Thank goodness everyone have a good day talk to you later soon John“
“Tilly Jane’s is not just your typical sports bar. When the old Sharis building was renovated into a new sports bar, I was curious what to expect. With over a dozen TVs, which can each be changed independently to show MY GAME, coupled with a knock out menu, this place has quickly become my new favorite for game day….but also every other day in between. Their breakfast is off the charts and they have a rotating weekly special dinner menu that challenges any of the other alternatives for cuisine in town.If you haven’t given this place a shot. You’re missing the target, if the target is good times, good food, and good people.“
“Great pulled pork sandwiches with fresh, tangy coleslaw! Make sure to get extra napkins! I don't eat bbq often, but every once in awhile I get a craving and Mt. Hood BBQ makes it easy to satisfy the desire. It's a food truck, so everything is fresh and fast. For those with larger appetites, they have a sampler platter with ribs, brisket and burnt ends. They make their own sausage and they sell it cooked, or you can buy a package to take home. Same with ribs, you can buy a take and reheat package for an easy dinner at home. Plus mac & cheese, beans and several other menu items and specials. In addition to their location at 1301 Belmont, they are at most of the festivals in and around Hood River like the Hops Festival, the Hood River Valley Harvest Festival, etc.“
“If you're in Hood River and looking for a good place to grab Happy Hour or just to get a good dinner and some drinks then check Divots out. Being in the Portland area and always looking for some good Haopy Hour menus I have seen many good and not so good ones and Divots has a GOOD ONE! Good food options and prices are a decent value. Reference the two menu pics I added in December 2023 on their photos here. I had the burger and it really hit the spot. Good selection of beer, wine and cocktails too.“
“I eat at Freshies every other day or so!My go to spot for fuel for the day and a fresh start breakfast!Lunch here is great to get me through the day with a variety of bagels and fresh ingredients to choose from.Yes there may be a line and parking is not easy but it’s definitely worth the effort!Freshies also offers a variety of fresh made to order smoothies,Sure to delight any palate…Parking: Parking is tricky but Freshies is worth the time finding a parking spot!“
“Great food! The minestrone soup and clam chowder were amazing! The rest of the dinner was very good as well. Cozy atmosphere, nice staff and best of all, the stunning view! Its very quiet compared to our goto restaurants in Portland but we dont mind while enjoying the delicious meal at a good price!“
“We had a lovely dinner with great service, but would love to see more commitment to supporting Indigenous communities from this renowned restaurant. If you're going to take your name from a place that was destroyed by settlers and a people who were displaced, you should put your money where your mouth is and honor where your name comes from.“
