“On our way back to Pendleton from Portland, we stopped to charge our car. Then walked over to Solstice Wood Fire Pizza for dinner. We decided to order the BLBB pizza, a hot Kenyan Grey tea, and a huckleberry organic lemonade. Our server Brad N did an awesome job making our dining experience a real treat.“

“We were so fortunate to find this unique Cafe with one of the most eclectic and carefully curated menus. The tacos, enchiladas and quesedillas were just the right portions and we could taste the freshness of their ingredients. The crush puppies were a star as were the cider flights. What stuck with us though was how friendly, personable and genuinely kind the staff was. They made it an incredible experience. It was the most grounded and relaxing eating experience we could have imagined. Keep shining and we will certainly be back when we can!“

“We are in hood river 3 nights have been following recommendations by tourist guide. This restaurant is the best by far. Food taste, price, draft beer. We order sear salmon cooked perfectly, chicken mochiko is really unique soft tender n crispy, and tasty. Crispy cabbage is ok. Overall my husband said we should come hete two nights in a row. Restaurant is water front, nice view. Highly recommend to book or come early or prepare to have a walk on waterfront which we do and cant complian.“

“We love this place, we have been staying here for over 20yrs. Just recently stayed there in December but unfortunately there was a ice storm. We still enjoyed our stay and the staff as always was AWESOME. We are heading down this weekend for our 37yr anniversary so looking forward to it.“

“Stave and Stone was an enjoyable stop on our overall Hood River wine adventures. The wines were extremely clean and well executed for each varietal. The outdoor seating is absolutely gorgeous, with a beautiful view of the mountain in the distance, and our server was professional and friendly. The only negative is that this place was by far the busiest one we visited, so definitely make reservations. I didn't like that the servers were running around so much to keep up with the crowd, because I couldn't ask any questions about the wine. It felt impersonal and very corporate. I was unable to find out anything about the wines aside from the quick blurb on the menus. Overall it wasn't a big enough detractor to pull my rating down though.

I think it was a pretty good stop, and I really liked the lavendar hut that was next door. I definitely don't regret stopping by!“

“First time at the tasting room and I was thoroughly impressed. Very nice place with a chill atmosphere. Have a seat in an old bank vault if you like. Arrived with a group of four and we were seated quickly. The bar tender and staff were very accommodating. Order a flight of tasters or a mini cocktail. Quite a large menu of cocktails and tasters to choose from. Plenty of swag and bottles to purchase. I had a sniffer of ULLR, Sinfire and rum. The pear brandy cocktail was excellent.“

“We have never eaten here before, but we had some time to kill. We decided to have a sandwich while we were waiting on the CAT bus, for our ride back to Cascade Locks. The food was good and the service was great. Next time we plan to try the pizza.“

“Divots Restaurant at Indian Creek is exceptional. The Szechuan salad with salmon was incredible, featuring perfectly crisp greens topped with tender, flavorful salmon that had just the right amount of spice, making me want to return for more. The onion rings were crispy and golden, exactly what I was craving.

The staff is truly wonderful. I can’t remember the name of our waiter (he was a tall guy with curly dark hair), but his recommendations and attentive service made our visit even more enjoyable. The patio offers stunning views of the Columbia Gorge and Mt. Hood, providing a beautiful backdrop for every bite.

Even if you don’t golf, I highly recommend stopping by for a fantastic meal, amazing service, and breathtaking scenery. You won’t regret it!“
