“Honestly, it’s pretty good NY style pizza. The staff is generally friendly and service is fast. Good beers on tap. I was prepared to be underwhelmed by this place when I moved to Hood River three years ago, but they’ve had consistently good pizza. The little kids play room is awesome. There’s a few arcade games in the back as well. Andrew’s overall is just a pleasant, family friendly restaurant with good food.“

“For a take and bake pizza, Papa Murphy's is quite good! Having lived in NJ for 40 years, my preferred style is thin crust. So many pizza places in the PNW make their pizza with way too much dough. I prefer the sauce, cheese and toppings over the carb heavy dough so Papa Murphy's works for me! And I don't mind that I have to bake it because I want my pizza piping hot with the cheese all melted, so hot that I actually burn the roof of my mouth! When I do delivery or pickup anywhere else, I have to reheat it anyway so why not buy one that is prepared fresh and then bake it when I'm ready to eat? Oh, yea, that's the business model! It's convenient to pick one up while I'm out and about running errands and know I don't feel like cooking dinner or going out to eat. In the weekly paper ads that come in my mail, there are often coupons for Papa Murphy's. I keep them in my car so that when the craving hits, I can pick up a pizza and save a few bucks. Service here is always friendly and efficient.“
“This is a childhood favorite. I grew up going to this Pietros with my family and now I take my little family. Recently, now that I noticed they are better staffed - the quality has been great. There was a period where it was a hit or miss, but now it’s back to being consistently delicious. Customer service is better; friendly & quick. There are less out of order games & there are workers quick to help at the prize booth. Great job Hood River!“
“Tried two pizzas here while passing through Hood River for an early dinner break. The pizza was fantastic; especially enjoyed the carnivore pizza (added olives)! We also did a custom pizza, basically a Hawaiian, and it was also great. They have some very unique pizzas as well, for those who are more adventurous and are looking to try something new and different. Their pizza crust was cooked perfectly; thin, tasty and not greasy at all. Their spicy jalapeño crema sauce was great for dipping pizza crust (not actually very spicy, but very delicious). Location is good: nice view of the bluffs on the Washington side of the Columbia River from the windows of the restaurant and there is a small, nice park across the street near the river as well. The service was a little slow during our visit, but the restaurant was getting very busy (clearly a popular local place), but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Pricing is definitely higher than fast food style pizza but the flavor and food quality is worth your time and money. Would definitely visit here again and try some additinal menu items. We watched as other plates of food came out for other customers and all of the food looked and smelled fantastic.“
